After third day of our biking we stayed here for one night. We had two rooms. Both rooms were clean and comfortable. We met owners (very friendly and nice people). Even though we arrived late, they opened kitchen and served woodfired Pizza which was EXCELLENT.

This place is a nice mix of historic building and young, dynamic (new) owners. We had a great time with them and we love the fact that they are a bike-friendly place and located right at the bottom of one of the best trails in the US.

I bought a last minute ticket from Amtrak and took Lane County's Diamond Express shuttle to Westfir for a quick getaway. It was so easy to get there and once there I was welcomed by the owners of this historic lodge! The rooms were funky and comfortable. I was able to get in some quicks hikes, enjoy nature and get... My wife and I spent the night at the Westfir Lodge. It was an interesting and educational experience. We booked this stay a couple of months ago with friends who had stayed here many years ago and really enjoyed the experience. As with all things, time passes. One of the original owners passed away, and the other eventually put the... More

Thanks for a wonderful and memorable stay at your lodge, Dawn and Chad! You were truly awesome hosts and I will be back. I was traveling across the West Coast on my bicycle and arrived at dark in Oakridge. When I called the lodge for directions from downtown, Chad offered to pick me up, which was a life-saver! This hospitality... More

We stopped by for an expresso and ended up getting the grand tour by one of the owners Dawn. She showed us around told us about the history of the place. It is a very pretty place and very reasonably priced for what it is. We didn't stay there but would stay there in the future if we are ever... More

Dawn and Chad bought the Lodge in May '15. Now that they have a couple of months under their belts, it seems to be running very well. It has large rooms and is appropriately decorated in a style that perfectly fits this area. On the other side of the street is the Office Covered Bridge, an unusual and well-maintained landmark.... I was part of a large group,(25).We pre ordered our meals a week in advance. There seemed to be only one person in kitchen and one waiter, who took our orders and food came out 2-3 plates at a time, with no relationship to each couple s order,so one was finished eating as the other still waiting for plated food.Food would have been... We used the Westfir Lodge as a home base for a three day bicycle tour. We arrived on Tuesday, a day the restaurant wasn't normally open to the public but a group of locals were celebrating a birthday and we were accommodated easily. We sat on the patio enjoying the warmth of the July evenings and the beautiful surroundings. while... More
