After a long day on the road we were very pleased to find our rooms at Whispering Woods were very clean and comfortable. As we were there off season it was very quiet. Our only visitor was a deer that grazed below our window. We were able to walk on a path to the Salmon River, and take a walk...

We are Shell members and stayed in a 2 bedroom loft on the golf course. I was a little worried that the place would be dated because according to our reservations we were in a "Phase 1" unit. I couldn't find any explanation about the difference between the phases and Shell usually dumps us in the worst condo at our...

The resort is a little more off the beaten track, but still in a good location. There are a few restaurants within a 10 minute drive, and a grocery store right up the road. The grocery store even sells growlers of beer with a good selection! Location was great for us as we did a lot of hiking within the...

We stayed for nearly a week at the Whispering Woods Resort. What a wonderful getaway! We stayed in the phase II condo (very back building D). Had a great view of the fairway and every morning the deer would come by for a visit. We had two full bathrooms, two bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, living room and dining room....

My family stayed at Whispering Woods for a wedding we were attending. We stayed for the week and cannot say enough great things about the friendly staff, the beautiful resort and cleanliness. No issues at all, and will definitely return.

We had a 1 bedroom condo that was next to our 2 bedroom unit. They had a common door so we were able to freely move throughout both units. Not far to the ski areas and some good local restaurants close by. This is an RCI participating resort and well equipped and maintained.

A nicely tranquil spot to lay low for a week. The staff has been amazing! I have appreciated their friendly and professional way about them. Though rest was number one on our agenda, we did not anticipate that it would be basically hunkering down for the week. Seldom do we both come down with colds at the same time, but...

We stayed here for a week and wished it could have been longer! The resort is beautiful, quaint and quiet. We went during the summer months, so there wasn't a lot of people around. Everything was clean and comfortable, and the staff were welcoming. It's only an hour or so drive outside of Portland, and we found it was easy...

We stayed here for a week. Our plan was for a grand tour of Oregon, since we are from Virginia and we wanted to make the most of our time in Oregon. We found the Whispering Woods Resort centrally located enough. The accommodations were clean, well stocked, and comfortable. We spent our first day exploring the Columbia River Gorge, the...

This is a nice little resort in the foothills of the Mt. Hood national forest. The staff was friendly, and the room is small but quite nice. There are walking trails among the woods and the nearby golf course. I saw a couple of deer when I was out walking early in the morning. We will definitely stay here again!
