They walked in on my family at 3am the phones, wifi and tv did not work, they double charged me amd the back doors do not open, it cost me 1300 for 2 nights that I am having to sue to get back and I will be calling county building imspecters
The interior of the room is ancient at best. The desk area is a hodgepodge of mismatched desk parts. TV, microwave, telephone are ancient and cordless phone didn't work. For the price I would think the room would be modernized. They installed a waterfall shower head but it is right up against the wall and you cannot adjust it to spray in an area where you don't have to stand right against the wall to get wet. The entire remodel looks like it wad done by an amature. Manager Chris is a unprofessional fool and needs to be terminated.
I stayed at this “resort” over one night and had an awful experience from start to finish. The room was dirty, including food debris and dirt. The internet only worked if I stood next to the door and even then it was spotty. The heating unit did not seem to work properly as it continued to blow hot air no matter how far down I turned the temp. But the real insult was when the heavy shower curtain rod fell down on top of me during my shower. What a disappointment...I expected much more for the price.
Resort nearly empty. Website listed amenities and breakfast in the rate. Everything was shut down, even basketball and tennis, with no people there - still charged us $25/day "resort fee" - how about waiving it for COVID since there was no "resort". Breakfast did not exist - when we asked we got a gas-station-quality plastic-wrapped $1 muffin and baby orange juice.
Best Western's Mt. Hood Oregon "RESORT" is a Motel 6 level property that Motel 6 would be ashamed of. This might have been a very nice property at some point in the past. It is obvious that Best Western is taking advantage of consumers looking for a decent place to stay during the ski season. We stayed in the off season (August). The place is old and busted down. Old can be very nice if properly maintained / upgraded. This place feels as if they haven't done serious maintenance since the 1990s. Rusty water, noisy vibrating vent fans, broken toilette seat, ice machine out of order, filthy balcony (bird poop everywhere), ratty old carpet, not enough electrical plug ins, no availability of in-room movies and very weird "humps" in front of each room entry that are trip hazards. What's with the humps? DO NOT pay $200 per night for this crap-tastic property. …
