My husband and I had a wonderful one-night stay at the Doublegate Inn in the Chantrelle Suite the last Friday in September. The Inn has such a feeling of warmth and welcome. The owner has decorated it in such an cozy fashion with lovely use of color and eclectic furnishings. If you take the time to speak with Stephanie, everything... More

My wife and I stayed for 6 nights at the most wonderful Bed & Breakfast. It was quality in every way, from the house, the rooms, the linens, the nightcaps & mints to the fabulous breakfasts each day. Our trip was relaxed and we were able to rejuvenate in this serene setting. The house was comfortable and easy and we... More

My sister and I stayed 2 nights in the Chantrelle suite and we couldn't have been more comfortable. Every aspect of comfort and pleasure were taken into consideration. Stephanie is an exceptionally lovely host and ensures that her guests feel very welcome and well taken care of. I couldn't recommend this B&B more highly.

We stayed in Welches for a wedding in July and Stephanie could not have been a better host. She is flexible and understanding, and thinks of absolutely everything. With the wedding activities, we were coming and going at odd times, but she always made sure we were refreshed and relaxed. From late night amaretto + chocolates to the soothing Sinatra... More

We had a lovely experience at the Doublegate Inn. The service was wonderful and our room (Chanterelle) was fantastic! We loved all the details, decor and atmosphere the Doublegate had to offer. We played croquet in the front yard and had wine and cheese on the patio. There was plenty to keep us occupied; loads of books, movies, games, etc.... More

My wife and I spent a memorable night at Doublegate on Oct 19/12--Stephanie and Eric were the perfect hosts, providing info, wine and crackers cheeses by the fire, recommending the Rendevous restaurant (excellent), setting us up in a quiet, beautifully appointed room and capping it off with an extraordinary breakfast. We are experienced B&Bers and can recommend Doublegate without qualification.--they... More

My husband and I stayed for three nights inorder to enjoy the Mount Hood area. We arrived late, after 10pm and received a very warm welcome from Stephanie, together with tea and biscuits, and a warm comfy bedroom. Breakfast was delicious and set us up for a day's hiking. The Doublegate Inn is tastefully renovated and beautifully presented and staying... More

She made delicious breakfast and goodies to snack on for myself, my husband, && my mother-in-law. And she was a fantastic host for our new baby as well! My husband and I stayed here last year while traveling through Oregon. It was our first stop during a two week visit. Stephanie is such a sweet, wonderful hostess, not to mention an excellent cook! We felt at home immediately and were able to start our trip on a relaxing note. The rooms are comfortable, cozy, and spotless. We hope... More

I stayed with my wife and two teenage daughters (14 and 18) at the Doublegate for four nights while exploring the Mt. Hood area. Long story made short: I've traveled the world and have never had a more pleasant and comfortable stay anywhere - period. The proprietors, Eric and Stephanie, are unbelievably gracious and accommodating, the rooms luxurious yet super-cozy,... More
