Clean air, beautiful views, Excellent food..... Many may have visited Kah-Nee-Ta for the day at the day park......But, if you have not stayed up at the lodge for a weekend or more, you're missing out. I prefer staying mid week, late season. Less crowded. It is mid late August....maybe early September....and you just woke up. It is 7:00 in the... More

You could find several things wrong here but the food is unbelievable! Wow! The surroundings are just breathtaking. So quiet! I go here every year. Well worth it! Just look past some of the repairs needed. The benefits far outweigh the drawbacks

This place is filthy and needs loads of TLC, the carpets, pillows, bedding and walls are all in need of repair or replacement. This is so dated, the TV is a CRT (TUBE) style and it isn't even in front of the bed. I would never stay here again. Spend more $ and stay in Madras or somewhere else... not... More

Stayed one night for a business trip. The view from my balcony was phenomenal. So peaceful. The gym is limited, but gets the job done. The pool is heated to 85 all year. Lots of outdoor seating to relax outside. Being outside under the stars was very relaxing.

Beautiful scenery surrounds you on this moderately easy 18 hole course. Best of all, nobody is pushing you since it's rare that the course is busy. That's a shame because this is truly a rewarding experience. The Lodge, as well as the golf course, are in marginal shape, but the course is coming back. And, I think there is an... More

Played golf with 3 friends on a Wednesday which was couples pricing $30 per couple and included the cart. Course was challenging but in good shape. Needs a little maintenance but not too bad. Lots of interesting holes. Many dog legs and rough was a challenge. Number 17 particularly challenging. Pro shop staff were friendly and helpful. Did not stay... More

Stayed in the village in a queen room with kitchenette (nice for making breakfast and dinner). Kitchenette had no potholder or napkins /paper towels, so bring your own. Cookie sheet provided does not fit in oven. Room was clean. Shower head was too low (I'm only 5'6"). WIFI good in room. Pool had 2 water slides, 2 hot tubs and... More

I have not been to the Kah-nee-ta Village for over 35 years and I have to say it was better than I remember. The first thing that you notice is the wonderful smell of Sage and Juniper, The rooms are nice and clean, and the pool is spectacular, with the addition of slides the experience is fun for the entire... The service was friendly and professional and the room was fantastic. Great breakfast and we loved the fried bread with huckleberry jam. Overall I'd have to give them a 10. We're looking forward for another return visit!
