Nice campground with easy access to beach. Some sites are right along ocean edge, but very difficult to get into unless you have a reservation 6 months in advance. Keep in mind that these sites close to the ocean get the wind and rain and can be very cold (even in the summer months). Sites within the trees can shelter... More

We recently stayed overnight at Tillicum Beach. It is a Forest Service campground that honors Golden Age pass which make a stay for us very economical. It is a bit tricky to get and ocean side site as they are parallel parking. Most are quite short and will not handle larger RVs or any tow RV for it is difficult... More

Stayed at this campground last week, may 6and 7th, rite before mother's day, our first time, happened to be the weekend of mother's day. A first for us, with a new camper, got there a little late in the afternoon and was surprised how crowded it was. Not used to camping in those managed situations, found the camp host, and was... The facilities were clean, the sites were amazing and the access to the beach was incredible. The layout of the campground is good, but I would opt for a site further away from the highway and closer to the beach, as I prefer not to hear cars and semis going by my tent all night. The camp host was very... More

First of all, I want to thank the friendly and gracious campground host who helped my wife and I find a walk-up site. There were only three available when we arrived on a Thursday at about 1 p.m., and she pointed us right to them and told us to select one quickly because they would not stay unoccupied for long.... Due to a reservation error at another beach park, we were left in the lurch, 3 vehicles loaded with family and camp gear galore. A passerby told us about Tillicum Beach Park, just up the highway. We pulled in thinking they'd surely turn us away, not having a reservation and needing several days. I can't say enough good things about... More

We camped here in a 28' RV and could not have asked for a more beautiful spot! The beach access was handy, the campsites were beautiful and secluded from the parking for the site. The beach was one of the most beautiful we've visited, open, long clean stretches of sand and rushing ocean waves. Many campgrounds (state, federal or national)... More

We stayed at tent site 46 which was along the beach. There are other sites with better views but this was pretty good as some of the other tent sites are in the middle of the loop/trees and have no view at all. Very quiet except for the sound of the ocean/waves which was very relaxing. Lots of fog when... More

We tent-camped for eight days right on the bluff overlooking the ocean. While we loved the beautiful sunsets, the pristine beach and the pounding surf, the unexpected treat of whales swimming leisurely close to shore was the highlight of our beach-side site. We could easily see their spouting while we sipped our morning coffee; a pair of binoculars let us... More
