This is a great KOA campground and a wonderful place to explore the coast of Oregon. The staff was helpful and friendly. The campground was immaculate and we really enjoyed the private bathrooms with private showers for us to use. There were many beaches and places to visit within a 30 minute drive. We will definitely be back next time... More

It is a nice, paved property, great sites, excellent views and in a beautiful part of the country. It is not a big property and not really geared to families as there is not much for kids to do here but lots of stuff in the surrounding area. They ask that all visitors to not use cannabis on their property.... More

We had a wonderful experience. Clean, friendly and very accommodating as we ask to stay an extra night(Saturday) and they were able to keep us in the same sites. We were close to everything and found a lovely beach near by that we found hardly anybody on it. GREAT!!! dog walk and people walk. Ok, it was Patterson Beach. We... More

We were here 4 years ago for one night and I've couldn't wait to get back here. Good stopping point for Oregon Coast. You can go north or south from here. They did a lot of updating from the last time we were here. Very clean and friendly. Nice walk down to Alsea Bay to see mussels and crabs. Just... More

It took me a LONG time to calm down before reviewing this location. As someone that has actually looked into the requirements for owning a KOA, a Campground and a B&B, this location left me pretty upset on multiple levels. The first thing I noticed, upon pulling our 5th wheel in, was that the location was not big. We barely... More

We were attending an dog Agility Trial in Newport and stayed at the KOA in Waldport, OR. The park folks were very friendly and helpful (thanks for the parking assist). The place was very clean (grounds, bathrooms etc.) and the view of the bridge was amazing. The trail down to the beach was a bit daunting (not sure if we... More

We have stayed at this park before and absolutely loved it but this time it was not so good. We stayed one night they put us in a spot 23 not level at all then moved us to 32 behind some people that lived there. Water hookup was in the campsite behind us to far away to reach plus we... More

Cheerful, helpful check-in; close to coastal sights, and easy to find...and location has a view of bridge and water. However, as others have noted, sites are very close together with not much ambience. We stopped by Beverly Beach State Park, and were really sorry that we hadn't booked there....gorgeous, wooded sites, great walking trails...all adjacent to the beach. But back... More

We spent four windy, blustery nites (well gee, it was late winter on the Oregon coast) in an RV site. 'Had several visits with the friendly, helpful owners who made us feel as if we were invited guests in their home. Their little "general store" was well stocked with a variety of RV accessories, souvenir and clothing items and grocery... More

The Waldport/Newport KOA is a average to good campground overlooking Alsea bay. The sites are well appointed and our overall experience was excellent. I will say that the campground is starting to show it's age and is due for an update. The location is great, although it could be a tad noisy if you're tent camping as it's fairly close... More
