This is a well done, classic bed and breakfast. The caretakers engage with you, they make sure you have what you need. We had an opportunity to take a nap in a double hammock by the river's edge. While there we observed drift boaters, waterfowl, people fishing and other small wildlife. Happy hour is a good chance to talk to others while you get a glass of wine and a snack for the evening. Mornings start with coffee and choice of several delicious options on the menu. We highly recommend the Marionberry stuffed french toast. With bacon. We stayed in Kingfisher. It's at the top of the stairs in the main lodge. Made it easy to come down to breakfast and happy hour. The room has a little seating area, a fridge and microwave, a small closet and a full size bed. The windows open and have screens. It was nice ot hear the water at night and the birds in the morning by leaving the windows open.…
This Bed & Breakfast is beautiful, private and serene. The view and sound of the rolling McKenzie River was a wonderful setting to relax in. We really enjoyed our stay and felt well taken care of. The owners and hosts, Lisa and Kermit, were very welcoming and made sure we were comfortable. The Osprey room was cozy with a perfect view of the river. The food was delicious! Wonderful getaway! We stayed at Eagle Rock for 3 nights April 2021. The new owners, Lisa & Kermit, were so welcoming! We felt like we were among friends. The location is incredible- McKenzie River waterfront! We spent a lot of time just listening to the birds and watching the river flow by. The Lodge is beautifully decorated. You will wish this was your home! The daily breakfasts were so tasty! 3 courses, with 3 selections- we were spoiled! Everything was immaculate, too. We plan to make this an annual stay ( more, if I can get away)
Lovely room. Clean. Grounds are breathtaking. Breakfast was yummy and the avocado toast introduced me to a new breakfast meal I will give try. Hosts were so accomodating and gave me some great tips and suggestions on my vacation. Sending positive thoughts that the fires stay away from your property. Be safe. 💖
Praying for Nancy and Robert and the beautiful Eagle Rock Lodge. We stayed in the lovely Owl room for 2 nights last week and it was marvelous on every level. But wildfires are threatening the area this week and an evacuation order has been issued. We hope with all our hearts this beautiful gem on the McKenzie River is spared and that all remain safe and sound.
