Check in person was very nice beyond that my room (220) was the worst of my 10 day travel. No clock, I couldn't find until daylight the next morning the light switch for the overhead light and all other lights were very dim leaving me with putting on my glasses and using my cell phone flash light to try to get the window open (it had a LOT of fingerprints around the latch...so much for cleanliness and a clue that other travelers also had suffered) and still I couldn't open it or get any cooling from the air conditioner. No TV except if you subscribed to Netflix etc) and breakfast? Make your selection and TIME the night before and pick it up at the TIME you selected or go without. Selection time was limited...someone else might have the 5 minute you were allowed slot. Instead of a decent mattress a foam topper was on top. I don't weigh a lot but still sunk in until it was difficult to move and worse because when waking I had to find my glasses and cell phone to find out the time and eventually was too late for my "breakfast" but luckily down and across the street were decent places from which to choose.. And luckily there were lots of turn outs on hiway 101 so I could pull over and nap far more comfortably than that experience!

They got rid of their cable, using spotty internet and ROKU with no built in subscriptions - No local channels - no live news - no football Try to download apps onto ROKU but slow WiFi prevents successful downloads Paid 200 a night and incredibly disappointed- staff is always great - we have been regulars during fall fishing but never again If the owners were local they might be more responsive to the complaints they receive on their ROKU decision to get rid of cable Without supplying ROKU subscriptions as part of their service

Dirty, noisy, and broken. We stopped here for a night during part of a road trip. Ashley Inn has not stepped up their cleaning during Covid. However they have a disclaimer that may set a record for length holding them harmless if you catch it there. Some deep cleaning would be more comforting. The carpet may not have been cleaned in years. The entrance to the slow elevator appears never to have been cleaned. Our bathroom walls had disintegrating plaster. The outside of the hotel has never seen a pressure washer. Their high speed WiFi doesn’t work well enough to use. We just used our cellular data. Their was an adjoining door to the next room. The tv sound from the next room was pretty loud. When I woke up I was looking forward to using their “coffee machine”. The contraption did not work. The price was high despite the low class service and cleanliness!

Travelled with spouse and her sister, only needed 1 room with two beds or 1 double bed and couch. These were known to be available, staff did not offer a choice, had to rent 2 rooms. Will not select this place on our frequent stopovers.

Stayed one night, Saturday 2/15/2020. Outside of the hotel is rough looking. Inside clean enough, front desk was okay, but very underdressed. Room was clean but had the oddest smell, very unpleasant, like very strong mustard. Bed was comfortable, no internet information in the room info sheet, so had to ask for it. Key didn't work on side entry doors. Coffee pot had not been cleaned for several days, opened it to make coffee in the morning and the pot had old colffe with mold floating in it. VERY gross and dissappointing. Won't stay there again.
