Everything about Sunriver is first class, while at the same time comfortable and family friendly. From the Director of Golf at Crosswater, Adam Ullman, to the most attentive and fun bar tender from the Netherlands, Marieka, all of the many staff we encountered were very professional and determined to make sure we were MORE than satisfied with all aspects of our vacation experience. We stayed in a beautiful home at #7 Caldera Springs, that was perfect for 4 friends on a golf outing, but would be equally perfect for 1-2 families looking for easy and close access to all the many amenities of Sunriver. I hope to come back soon with my extended family.
We spent a week in Sunriver with family and friends for our son's wedding. Everyone involved in our stay went out of their way to accommodate any requests, room updates and food/restaurant suggestions. Plan to return again as biking, river access, tennis, pool and food all spectacular. The 24 hour shuttle is an incredible bonus!!
Took advantage of the golf package at Sunriver and played all 3 courses in 3 days. Played Woodlands twice. Cool mornings, periodic threat of rain this time of year. Sunriver food choices limited due to staffing. But a good trip!
The location is gorgeous and all the amenities are fun and easy to access. The resort app is very helpful. There are lots of food options to choose from but there is also a shopping center biking distance with shopping, groceries and restaurants.
Decided to give Sunriver a try after seeing a TV program on the golf courses. The golfing was challenging but the courses were beautiful. The staff was very nice, there were plenty of restaurants to choose from, and there's plenty of other activities to please everybody. Think we are coming back! One complaint? My husband complained about the mattress being too soft.
Had a family get away over the weekend at Sunriver. Rented a home in through the resort rental agency. Yet while the home was lovely, we arrived to a overflowing garbage pale, a stopped-up toilet in one of the bathrooms which we had to plunge ourselves. Yuck. The beds were uncomfortable and rickety. Smelled of stale linens. Good luck reaching anyone by phone to make reservations to golf, to go to the spa, to rent bicycles, kayaks or rafts. When we finally reached someone by phone at the Marina, the representative acted as though we were bothering her and couldn't be bothered by us. All in all, We don't feel like we got our money's worth from the resort and from the facility. We did have a great time as a family however not much can stop that fortunately.
Beautiful and well-maintained facility, plus extra gracious and helpful resort personnel, make the Sunriver resort a special place. There are plenty of things to see and to do at the resort as well as nearby, even for those of us who are not golfers.
Great location, the restaurants on site and shopping complex are great. The ice cream/candy store was amazing. We golfed both courses and had a great time. Would recommend for a quick get away with lots of options for activities and good food.
I traveled to Sunriver Resort for business and had a wonderful time. The resort itself is located in the midst of spectacular scenery. The accommodations were great and the staff at our events were second to none. I look forward to returning.
Room was clean and nice to stay in. The environment was great, the pool was awesome. Many activities to do. For the price, I was expecting complementary breakfast. Could definitely use more food options.
