We stayed in Room 7, a no nonsense room in the lodge which had some amazing views of the snow dusted mountains and comfortable beds. For breakfast we had sausage gravy over fried potatoes and a omelette both which were amazing and reasonably priced. This...More

I'm confused-is the restaurant that was on the property closed? I was there a few years ago and it had great food! Also, was you cabin full of bugs? The reason I ask is that when I stayed at the Lodge several years ago I had a motel room in the old section and it was full of bugs-I woke up in middle of night with bugs crawling all over me-no, not bed bugs, long black bugs with lots of legs-but it was creepy. I left at the crack of dawn with no breakfast. I was wondering if the cabins were different. Thank you so much. And you are right-the location for bird watching was terrific so I'd like to go back.
