I booked this motel based upon location and reviews. I had to call to change the date due to a medical emergency. The gentleman, Darrell, asked my what my emergency was. I told him. He dropped our rate down even lower. Shout out to Darrell. Thank you. Beyond that, this will be hard to rate because our travel was during COVID-19. The breakfast that they offered was better than our motel that we stayed at previously. After that, the motel was okay. I reported a smell in the hallway (we stayed on the third). Could not tell that they did anything about it. Will try this place again on our next trip North and see if I can't give it a better review later.
When we visit the Eugene, Springfield area we stay at Quality Inns & Suites. I make special requests and they always honor them. Sometime aga my wife left her purse at the Motel. we were south of Veneta when we discovered it. We returned to the Motel and one of the ladies found it and had it safe and waiting for her. That was very deeply appreciated. My wife tried to reward her and she refused. We will be staying there again.
The "vibe" trickles from the top down. The manager here, Eryn Organ, is one insecure, unhappy individual. Her oppressive attitude affects morale, and when morale is poor? GUESTS SUFFER! An aggressive, growling dog jumped on my chest in the hallway. It was scary. Eryn blamed me for scolding the dog owner! Eryn didn't even apologize to me. Prescription pills were stolen from my bathroom here. Eryn didn't even apologize because I couldn't "prove it"! (Trust me, I don't lose prescription pills. The housekeeper took them.) I stayed many weeks here. I spent thousands of dollars here. You would think management would APPRECIATE AND RESPECT a guest like me. I was kind to the staff. I'm always kind to the staff- no matter where I'm at. There is no Guide on the TV remote control! You have to manually go up or down one channel at a time. This is an easy problem to fix but "Guest Comfort" is NOT her focus. Her focus is HER bottom line. Guest comfort often involves an expense. The Internet is very slow. While there, she had 2 big, comfy lobby chairs removed and did NOT replace them. An employee took them home. I don't blame the employee. But what about the guests? So, the ONLY thing left in the lobby was one love seat. Do you want to sit next to a stranger - on a little love seat? The pool is ugly. My refrigerator was unstable and "rocking". At least one electrical outlet did not work. Don't waste your money here. Eryn is VERY unhappy and insecure. I treated her employees better than her.…
We flew into Eugene, OR & and reserved a room in Springfield. Our room was very clean, spacious, and noise free. The breakfast was fresh and plentiful. We would definitely stay here again! Thank you for a restful nights sleep!!
We stayed here for my work and it was a mixed experience. The staff workers were outstandingly helpful, going far out of their way to serve us and meet our needs. On the other hand, our TV didn't work, the pool had mold growing on the sides, and someone was having a party at the pool complete with multiple 6-packs of beer while we were swimming with our grade-school age child. We selected this property due to being part of the "Choice" system building up points, and because of the reasonable price. We'd probably return, but it wasn't our best lodging memory.
