Old but somewhat updated. Nice tv. Stained lampshades, tired old fabric couch/chair. Decent room for an ok price. Breakfast is a mess with having to ask for what you want then little to nowhere to sit. Restaurants in the area within a short walk, but was panhandled by someone who wanted $2 or my bag of food. Nothing terrible, probably would not stay here again at this price.
Clean, quiet, safe. Very comfortable room and bed. As a solo woman traveler, I liked that there seemed to be someone at the desk 24 hours a day. Friendly staff, good breakfast. Convenient location. Will stay here again next time I'm in Eugene.
Staff is amazing very courteous and friendly . Rooms are clean, spacious. Pool maintained etc. BUT , Too expensive for where you are . 6 AM the Noise starts .. went on for over 30 minutes ..too early for me. Makes for a Tired and grumpy day . ☹️
This Comfort Suites has been our go-to for 10 years when in Springfield, OR. Unfortunately, this time some Pop Warner football event was going on and kids were running up and down all of the hallways yelling until after 10 pm. We requested a different room immediately after arrival and the staff was quick to accommodate us. But, it was no different on another floor. Between this, the wore out King bed in Rm. 206, and the wall heater running continuously all night there wasn't much comfort this time.
I stayed in the hotel two weekends in a row. I was impressed that every single employee I encountered and/or asked a question was friendly and super responsive. A special shout out to Jessie at the front desk who greeted me with a cold bottle of water and recognized when I checked in the second time. Made me feel at home. Well done.
