I happened into the Lodge at Suttle Lake during a day trip in the area this last weekend, looking for a place to hike. The main access road was closed with a sign "Opening soon-ish". I was only there for a few hours so parked at the day use area and walked around the property while I was looking for... More

We put in at the boat launch across the lake from the lodge. It was a calm day out with a couple of boaters and other kayaks. We didn't go to the lodge but it is beautiful and would like to stay the weekend in fall. There was a couple of campers out that weekend and plenty of people at... More

Eerily abandoned feel. Website said there was a restaurant, and there was none, the site had not been updated when we went. Guest book had also not been updated and still featured restaurant menu. Broken freezer door, borrowed tape from front desk to tape it shut, nothing was done about it. Crappy kitchen tools. Overpriced cabin. You can hear the... More

Our stay at The Lodge at Suttle Lake was August 18, 19, & 20, 2015. We looked forward to celebrating our 48th wedding anniversary and having a special dinner in the Boathouse Restaurant. We had camped and stayed in the area and knew that we loved the setting. We don't expect perfection and have never complained before. Not this time!... More

We drove to the lodge looking to fish. Tami at the front desk was so nice. We were not guests there, but when we asked about fishing for our son, she told us we could fish on the creek on the lodge property. Then when we asked about renting a boat for the next day and she was very helpful.... More

This was our second visit to the lodge. Last year was nice and the staff were helpful. They were not the friendliest but cordial enough. This year was absolutely appalling! The front desk staff were argumentative, defensive and completely rude. Had we not planned the trip a year in advance we would have demanded a full refund and left. There... More

This would receive ZERO circles if that was an option! The Lodge at Suttle Lake is beautiful. We rented one of their "luxury cabins" for $350/per night. We had planned a 3 night vacation there with 2 other sets of families, each family renting our own "luxury" cabin. They offer "rustic" cabins for $100/per night, the differences being there is... Just one night and not enough. Wonderful setting and a gorgeous lodge. We really enjoyed our walk around the lake and sitting outside on the awesome deck enjoing the view and some Atlas cider. It was a great introduction to Oregon.

We greatly enjoyed a long weekend "stay-cation" at the Lodge at Suttle Lake. We stayed in one of the free-standing cabins, and it was perfect for our family of four. Some weather did come through, and we were happy as can be to snuggle in the cabin playing games and enjoying the beautiful cabin. When the weather cleared, we walked... More

We didn't stay at the Lodge, it was closed for the winter. We did kayak the lake. We had to drive around to the west side of the lake and put in at the boat ramp on Forest Service land. Yes, Forest Service passes are needed here. We paddled clockwise around the Lake, it was about a 3.5 mile paddle.... More
