I did not realize that this was right in my own backyard. My daughters, granddaughter and myself stayed for two nights and had the most wonderful time. It is so peaceful and everyone is so friendly and they makes you feel like this is your home as well as theirs. The delicious homemade country breakfast is a must for anyone... More

Dick and Shirley are terrific company, warm, we felt like family almost immediately. Comfortable beds, reasonable price, slept well in clean high Oregon plateau air, terrific breakfast, very friendly staff. RELAXING. Nice walks around the ranch, with trail riding and fishing options.

My family, 2 adults and 2 kids, stayed here in July 2015 anticipating a Guest Ranch experience like others that we have visited in recent years in the West. While LHR is a nice and charming property, it was run more like a hotel than Guest Ranch. The ranch was indeed very western with a broad veranda and authentic decor.... More

Thank you for your review and comments. Just wish we had received this more near the time of your visit last year so we could be more current with our comments. Our memory is not perfect, but I do recall that last year this time we were experiencing a number of difficulties in part due to dealing with the unusually... More

I arrived at Long Hollow Ranch to a warm welcome and a tour of the ranch house from Shirley and felt instantly relaxed. Coming from the UK and not being that well travelled I was blown away by the 'feel' and western decor. The grounds were immaculately tended and the views were superb. My room was one of four upstairs,... More

Friday night we decided to drive down from Portland to central Oregon for some new scenery. We were fortunate to find a place available at the ranch. We had an adorable cabin that met all our needs. The property is breathtaking. We spent time walking around, visiting with horses, checking out the cows and more. A peaceful respite indeed. Breakfast... More

We stayed two nights and wished we had stayed for two more. The setting is as peaceful as it can be. You're out in the country, with acres and acres of view, and nary another house in sight. We stayed in the "Homestead" cabin... clean and comfortable. We booked a two-hour horse ride and had a blast with the two... More

Looking for a quiet, cozy, comfy place off the beaten trail? This place has that and delicious food served daily by very gracious hosts. Truly enjoyed a relaxing trail ride on Aurora . . . what a sweetheart of a horse.

Absolutely fell in love with Long Hollow Ranch in Sisters, OR! It was a fantastic experience from the gorgeous drive through the mountainous pines, to the rolling valley. Then, driving into the ranch, I was struck with the fresh smell of the pine trees, the fragrant lilac bushes, and the lush green pastures! The accommodations were incredibly comfortable; the food... We stayed at LHR for four days. From the moment we drove down the driveway we knew this was going to be a wonderful stay. Shirley and Dick are the most gracious hosts, welcoming us by name. The rooms were clean, homey, and best of all no TV!! We came to explore the area and its love of horses and... More

My husband and I stayed for our 15 year wedding anniversary this past weekend. As soon as we pulled into the driveway we were awestruck at the beauty that was Long Hollow Ranch.
