I stayed in August for 10 nights and due to the great experience I had, I booked again for my trip in September for 7 nights. I can not say enough about how wonderful, friendly and kind the owners are. Rooms were clean, quiet and very accommodating. Air conditioner worked exceptional. Thank goodness because is was over 100 degrees during both of my extended stays. Thank goodness for the ice machine as well. Amenities in the room include a microwave, refrigerator and coffee pot.
The hotel is right next to a highway and it’s difficult to get anywhere around there without driving but the room itself was fine. It was large, clean, well equipped and (mercifully) had incredibly powerful and responsive air conditioning. Guy on front desk was friendly and helpful.
Check in was very smooth and the lady at the desk was friendly and helpful with our dinner plans. The room was so clean, air conditioner was fantastic since it was 107 when we were there. It was as great for our stop over.
This was definitely a great find on the way to crater lake national park. The desk staff were very friendly. Room was comfortable and cooled down quickly with the air and fan going. Bed was comfortable. Place was very clean. TV had a lot of choices. After 7 nights of places that were inconsistent to excellent, this fell into the excellent category for a reasonable price. I highly recommend for a good night sleep if you are in this area.
We stayed at the Maple Leaf Motel for 2 nights while visiting the Shady Cove area, and we were happy we chose this motel! The rooms were clean and had all of the "comforts" of a large, chain hotel, including coffee maker, mini fridge, and toiletries. The owners/managers were very welcoming and friendly, and even went out of their way to mail something to us that we had accidentally left behind in the room! :) We'd definitely stay there again.
Not much to say other than this is a decent motel. The rooms were spacious, clean, and well equipped, with a decent bathroom and toiletries provided. The staff were very friendly and generally a nice place to stay. Not very close to much in Shady Cove (if you wanted to walk), but well situated for Crater Lake national park.
I’ll admit I was a bit skeptical of staying at a motel but this place was very comfortable and spacious. They only offered two pillows for each queen sized bed but gave us a few more upon request and the bed was comfortable to sleep on. The room also offered a small fridge and microwave which was convenient.
Only spent a night but the motel was exceptionally clean and one of the most comfortable beds I’ve slept in. Owner is super nice and so appreciative. Bonus: her daughter runs an amazing food truck out if the parking lot. Try it you’ll like it.
My stay was great, the owners are very nice, and the room had everything I needed to be comfy (AC/heating unit, microwave, mini-fridge, and all the usual). The beds were pretty comfortable as well, and the room/furnishings were in good condition. Wifi was decent too. Would stay there again.
Large, absolutely spotless room with very relaxing vibe and comfy, updated beds, furnishings and fixtures, plus well-designed storage unit for the mini-fridge, microwave, coffeemaker etc. And bonus: two much-appreciated chairs, different styles, in our double queen room! Great lay-out and storage in bathroom with better-than-average toiletries. Nice outdoor gathering spaces with tables/chairs/umbrellas in common grassy area out front. Great value, too! Wonderful low-key, warm and welcoming owners at the front desk. Cheery housekeepers. Much of the hospitality industry could learn a lot by doing things right the way these folks do! Shady Cove is lucky to have them!
