This is a beautiful spot on the Rogue River with gorgeous views of the river and, if you make sure to get a spot on the lower floor, facing the river, you can walk out on your private porch (with chairs) and immediately down on the lawn to the riverside. The view of the river is spectacular; there are even...

The Edgewater inn is located in Shay Cove, Oregon about 20 minutes north of Medford but more importantly about 45 minutes from Crater Lake National Park and this lake is a must see! The inn is located right on the Rogue river and we were lucky enough to get a large Jacuzzi room right on the river. You need to...

This was a nice clean place on our way to Crater Lake. We slept well. The owners were friendly and the breakfast was good. It was extremely warm outside so I had to adjust but we found plenty of things to do. The kids enjoyed the river and we stayed cool while swimming.

Traveling from eastern Oregon a Tuesday evening we needed a place to stay over night and picked the Edgewater inn at Shady Cove from the highway. First impression was very nice as the desk manager was very friendly and helpful. We choose a room with a patio area overlooking the river even though it was significantly more expensive. The room...

Stayed 1 night and enjoyed large comfortable room. Small refrigerator. Would definitely make reservation in summer and fire season . Had good healthy choices for breakfast and some sweets for others. Good basic room.

Love the path, with benches and casual landscaping, along the river. And the fact that two good restaurants within easy walking distance also have riverside dining. Perfect stop for me and my adult son, and I will also bring my husband back to one of the river-view rooms for a romantic getaway. Wonderful lobby and good breakfast, too. Early June...

The staff are friendly, rooms are quiet. Wifi is lacking so if you plan to work while staying here, just relax and leave work behind. If I stayed here again, I would pay a little extra for the river view. I didn't realize the river view rooms have small balconies and the rooms with no river view have a small...

The staff was very friendly and the rooms were nice and clean. We chose rooms that were on the first floor that overlooked the Rogue River. The room had nice french doors that overlooked a walkway and then the river. It also gave us easy access to the walkway and river. There were also rooms above us that had a...

We visit every two years for the Rogue Valley Walkers volkswalking weekend. Ask for a room overlooking the river - its worth it. Rooms are large with comfortable furnishings, flat screen tv, sofa. Everything is clean and functional. Friendly front office service. Good breakfast with hot oatmeal along with the regular stuff.

Pleasantly surprised!..The room we stayed in looked better than the one in the pics. Check in was fast and easy...Staff was nice too! Only problem was the bed not comfortable, but we saw notice on next door that they are receiving new beds. Pets can swim in the river by the riverfront park next to the river, which keeps fido...
