The Sandy Cove Inn is a family-owned boutique motel located two blocks from the beach and promenade in historic Seaside, Oregon. We are on the quiet end of town but still very close to the town’s attractions, and we combine the personal touch with modern conveniences like free WiFi and some pet-friendly rooms. We have everything from basic rooms to vacation rentals, and with both a market and restaurant just across the street, we are the perfect place for a fun, peaceful stay on the Oregon Coast. We even have themed rooms like the Wave Room with surf art, a wave mural and an actual surfboard; there’s also a 1940s Room, a Monopoly Room, and a Boat Room, among several others. We’re one of the last family-owned motels in town, and that means a lot to us. We will share some of our favorite activities and places to eat with you, and we can’t wait to make you feel at home in our home.

This is a lovely small motel located 2 blocks from the shore at the quiet south end of Seaside. The staff are consistently friendly and helpful, and the rooms are clean, comfortable, and bright, with fun but not overdone decorations. It's as close as I've come to feeling at

We really enjoyed our stay at the Sandy Cove Inn. The themed rooms are a nice touch. We had reserved the Monopoly room -- but the super-nice front desk attendant let us take a look at that one and the Vintage Game room before making a decision. We decided on the Vintage Game

This hotel is so clean and well kept up. The people could not be more friendly and welcoming. The rooms have different themes and are so comfortable. What a deal and a bargain. There is a grocery store and restaurants across the street and the ocean is a half a block walk away.

This hotel is obviously well cared for. The welcome is friendly and genuine! The recommendations about what to eat in town is so helpful and I love that there seems to be a nice community amongst the independent businesses in town. I had breakfast at the Osprey cafe and it was

I loved this place. Very quaint and retro-ish. It was my 50th birthday this past week and my sister alerted them to that. They went way above and beyond by leaving in my room a complimentary bottle of sparkling cider and a hand written note. I have nothing negative to say about

Vintage Game Room
The Sandy Cove Inn is a quick walk away from the beach, about 3 minutes walking. And yes there are two access points where Avenue U intersects with the beach area. The Oregon coast is a simple walk to the west but there is also a stairway ( 2 stairs) to the historic Seaside promenade walk. This route takes you to the downtown area of Seaside, about a ten minute walk. Our guest rooms do not have an ocean view save one, the Jacuzzi suite has a bistro balcony and you can see the beach from there.

Do you have gluten free options
Hi! We don't serve food here at the Sandy Cove Inn but we do have a great list of restaurant recommendations available at the front desk. And I know that several of our top picks have gluten free options.
