Avoid it at all cost Airbnb should remove its false and misleading posts. This is not a typical hostel or motel. While a great location its apparent new owner caters to long term renters not travelers. This brings a different vibe more like an apartment complex for the poor and down on their luck. As long as you know what your getting you can make an informed decision. One thing airbnb said was breakfast was included. When I asked about it the owner said "there is pancake mix in the fridge we dont provide more than that" Dirty, small smelly dorm and very strange vibes... Down hill from there I wont be back

Halfway house not a hostel. Ive traveled 30 plus countries and stayed at many hostels. This is not a hostel but a long term rental more like an apartment. Thats not bad on its face but the long term renters are not travelers but due to poor choices in their adult lives have nothing, so cheap living in dorm facilities is better than a tent. The owner caters to this group. Drugs, alcohol and mental illness seems to be the common element bonding these people together. Avoid this place in less you fit the profile and enjoy living among this group.

This place is under new ownership and the worst thing that happened to it.dorm prices jacked up from 20 per night to 59.00 per night,new management profiles the guests and is picky about who they allow to pay for room terrible new management

Long story short, a week before my visit, they let me know my room was overbooked and put me in a place with a shared bath instead of a private one like I paid for. They would compensate me with a free night. Well, no one there when I checked out, which was when they had agreed to adjust it. Called the number, no answer left voicemail. Next day, nothing. Called again and left a message. Finally got a call saying they were really busy but would have manager call me. 2 weeks later, I am still trying to get my refund and apparently they are so busy that they do not care about customer service. I have been very patient and polite, but apparently this does not have any effect. DO NOT stay here.

I enjoyed my stay here in the female dorm. It was clean, quiet and safe. I wanted to be alone this trip and no one bothered me. If you need social time then you can do that too. The community vibe is very nice! There was a nice fire in the backyard the night I stayed and other guests were using the bbq. I opted to do my own thing though and that was fine too. I'm so glad to have this option for more budget accommodations and will stay here in the future. Very peaceful place.

I booked two nights at this hostel, because of the low cost, not knowing what to expect. I was charmed by what I found. The place, the hostel ambience, the garden, the location. The staff are friendly but respectful of guests’ privacy, the dorm rooms basic but decent and not overbooked, the bathroom spotless, the kitchen well equipped. I will definitely come back!

The place is run by a friendly, generous and nice old chap. He does all he can to make you feel at home, and succed. The rooms are small and except for sheet you´d better bring all you need with you, such as soap, shampoo etc. The breakfast is coffe and panncaces with home made syrup, if you like that. I imagine it would be nice to stay a few nights and hang out with the others guests. But it was a one night stay for us.

I love this hostel, been coming here for years. It's always clean and lots of friendly faces. I love they have kayaks right there to use on the bay. The bus stops right there too. So I can take the bus from Portland and be there in an hour and half to a great getaway on the coast. They serve Cuban coffee too! <3 <3

Drove from Vancouver to Seaside. We got in late at 1230 am .Staff made arrangements for room to be open , key there as well. Found the place thru Air BnB. We were able to bring my daughter’s small dog as well. Close to Cannon Beach to drive. Rooms comfortable , outdated.Kitchen shared.
