Opening the door to our room, and you see the Pacific's waves literally right in front of you, not in the distance. The sound and even the smell of the beach are there . Sleeping with the deck door open to the sound of the surf is a special treat. Watching a sunset with drink is pretty fine as well. The Lanai is accessible to the restaurants and tourist venues in central Seaside, but far enough away to provide separation from crowds. It's not the Ritz, but it's special in a natural way.

If you enjoy hearing the crashing of waves and taking in the surfers riding the waves, the Lanai at the Cove is a wonderful place to stay. We lucked out ... the weather was great and only on the day we left did it rain. Close to downtown & restaurants and to many beaches that are easy and fun to walk. The room, while small, is fine for 2. The tiny kitchenette was adequate. The staff friendly and helpful. The heated swimming pool was relaxing. Our four days passed so quickly ... hope we can get back to the Lanai at the Cove in the near future.

We stayed for one night on a short-notice trip to the coast. The view when we walked into the room blew us away! You are literally 50ft from the water. We stayed on the second floor and this was the perfect place to watch the surf. Private deck overlooking the ocean was a big plus. Very comfortable room with excellent staff. Allowing pets is certain rooms is a great bonus and we will likely bring ours next time. Its a little ways from down town Seaside but certainly within walking distance. Far enough that you have the sound of the ocean, not the town. Parking was a bit tight with a truck but manageable. This was our first time here but certainly wont be our last!

The views from Lanai at the Cove are extraordinary!! Our room was just feet from the Pacific ocean! As well as an amazing view ~ you may be lucky enough to see the surfers. My husband and I stayed here from Oct. 4th to the 9th, on the 3rd floor in room # 47. We have stayed here before and totally love this place and the ocean front view, we even love the rocky beach which causes the waves to crash up. Bonfires are allowed on the beach. Our room was nicely decorated, clean, cozy, had a kitchenette and everything we needed to spend a few days. These units are older, (but so are we), building well maintained and they have a nice pool, which we did not use it. The staff are amazing and follow Covid19 protocols, which we appreciated so much. Its a little off the beaten path which is another thing we enjoyed about the location. We will definitely be back!!
