My family and I have been vacationing at Seaside for years, and this trip was both our first, and last, stay at Inn at Seaside. Upon arrival we were greeted by an extraordinarily rude host who seemed to be put out by basic questions about the facilities. During our stay we requested towels one time, on our second day, and our request was met by a barrage of questions about the demographics of our family, followed by a warning that, “the five year old is getting questionable as to whether or not he only counts as a child.” After this interaction: no towels. The general feel of the facility was grungy and worn down. The hot tub that’s advertised has been filled in, as illustrated by the concrete silhouette that was once a hot tub, and overall the entire facility had the feeling of a Motel 6- that rents for four times the price. Overall, we were very disappointed and won’t be returning. If you’re going to vacation in Seaside, save yourself the headache and avoid the Seaside Inn. There are dozens of superior places to stay.

Hotel's Favorite
The room was immaculate, the amenities nice, and the included breakfast (although in a reduced grab-n-go format due to COVID) helped get our day started on a full stomach without having to wander in to town right away. The hotel has plenty of off-street parking, and is within easy walking distance to the beach. It's barely a block from the carousel mall and Broadway St. shops. During the pandemic they continued to offer indoor pool use in 1/2 hour slots you can sign up for, for just your group or family. This was a great balance of caution and convenience. Our room had a Blu-ray player to use with their library of discs available by the front desk. In-room mini fridge (thankfully not pre-stocked with a bunch of overpriced snacks/drinks) and microwave, plus k-cup single serve coffee machine rounded out the amenities. Whenever we needed something the front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. We got a great recommendation for a hike to do in Astoria that we wouldn't have otherwise discovered, I don't think. Overall it was a wonderful stay in Seaside, our accommodations a large part of that experience.

We had a great time and were impressed with the precautions around covid. Loved that you signed up for a pool time slot all to yourself. There were plenty of spots we could swim as much as we wanted. Some of the covid precautions such as all individually wrapped items for breakfast were good, however it did make the food less good but who can complain because covid limitations. Bikes could be in better condition.

We wanted to celebrate our September birthdays and also bring in Fall in a fun way. We stayed at the Inn at Seaside. Front desk was very friendly and every day they would have fresh cookies for the kids. The rooms were clean and beds were comfy. Overall it was a great Family vacation.

We stayed the night for my birthday. While the hotel was super nice. They don’t be locks in the outside entries so anyone can come on in. Me and my kids went to the vending machine room to get some candy. The door was locked so we went up to the front desk. The lady said it shouldn’t be locked gave me the code and we went. When we walked in we found a man on the side of the vending machine doing drugs. I ran my kids out of there and we went to the front desk again she asked me what the man looked like and I said I didn’t stay to find out. When we left we went to the elevator and found the man on the elevator. We went back to the front desk where she finally called the police. My kids were terrified and wanted to go home right then and there.
