Great motel at a great price! Can't beat the views from the third floor corner room! There was plenty of room for us and our two teenagers! The room was newly remodeled. The beds were great! Continental breakfast was great! This is the second time we have stayed and will definitely be back! Oh, and the staff is great!

Went for a relaxing weekend. No air conditioning. Can’t sleep with balcony door open because of people yelling and screaming on the beach all night. People smoking pot next door and cigarettes on the promenade walk all the time. Doors slam hard when shut. Balcony is so narrow you can’t sit facing the beach. Despite the price you pay, they won’t enter your room make your beds or deliver clean towels unless you are in your room and allow them in. Not worth the price we paid. Employees were nice and room was clean when we arrived.

Seashore Inn is in a great location. It is within walking distance to the shops and direct beach access.
Do to COVID the pool is by appointment which worked fine with our family. The boys had the pool to themselves, it was great. They offer breakfast every morning, you fill out your paper and turn it in and then pick up your bags in the morning to take back to your room.
The only negative was that the hotel didn’t have anywhere to clean sand off so our only option was to rinse in the bathtub.
Overall I would stay again.

We had a King ground floor ocean view room, just for one night, and couldn't have been more pleased. We arrived during a storm and were immediately welcomed like an old friend.
The reception and our room were spotlessly clean. We could see that the management team were taking the health of their staff and guests seriously. The reception was behind a screen, with plenty of hand sanitizer available for all, and everyone was wearing a facemask.
Our room was fantastic, perfectly clean with tile floor and everything white and new-looking. The shower cubicle was small but I enjoyed a perfect shower with good water pressure and heat.
The best part of the room was of course the view. The stormy sea was wonderful at sunset, and hearing the wind/rain lash against the windows at night was quite an experience.
In the morning, we had rainbows over that vast sky and the best seats for people / dog / bird watching while we ate our breakfast and drank decent coffee (we picked up a great pre-packed selection of hard-boiled eggs, cheese sticks, yoghurt, muffins, etc. from reception).
We would happily have stayed another night if we could have done. Our morning walk through the surf rounded off our very happy memories.
Thanks to everyone at the Seashore Inn.

My wife and I were looking to get away from the news and social media, and enjoy the Oregon beach . We had a nice drive from Seattle to Seaside, enjoying the early November fall change in colors along the Columbia River. Our room was ready for check in, and the receptionist was friendly and welcoming. We had a suite with a beautiful unrestricted view of the ocean and beach. The room was very clean, and the bed was high quality. This inn is right on the promenade and easy walking distance to the major attractions in Seaside. We were there during the slight reopening of the Covid restrictions and the staff were very good about keeping every thing clean, and safely distanced. The complimentary morning breakfast was well done, with a not just cereal but also boiled eggs, yogurt and muffins, and juice. We also enjoyed our dinner at Moe's seafood restaurant downstairs. We plan to come again in the spring and stay here.

This is what we strive for! We love fall travel season. The Columbia river drive is absolutely beautiful during that time. Thank you for seeing and noticing our covid policies that are in place! We hope they can change soon. We look forward to your next retreat here. Just give us a call.

We live in Seattle, and enjoy visiting the ocean beaches in the fall and winter. This year, we decided to take a road trip down to Oregon, and visit Seaside just south of Astoria. We enjoyed the fall colors along the roadways, and had a great stay at the Seashore Inn in Seaside.
The Seashore Inn is located near the center of town, and is close to the major attractions. It’s located right on the beach promenade and has great views of the beach and Tillamook Head. Next door is Mo’s Chowder, and the typical ocean beach type stores and gift shops. We enjoyed walking the promenade and returning on the beach.
We had a good size two queen bedroom, a closet area, a small table with chairs, and a small balcony. The room was comfortable, clean and well equipped with a refrigerator, microwave, a good size TV and dvd player. The beds were very comfortable, and each had multiple pillows. The bath came with a tub and a shower, and plenty of hot water after our walks on the beach.
The Inn has a heated pool and hot tub as well as a dvd library, games and puzzles. We also enjoyed the morning ample continental breakfast take out, as they did a great job keeping us all safe and social distanced. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and really seemed to be glad that we had ventured out to stay at the Seashore Inn. All the staff wore masks, and masks were required of visitors in the public area.

We planned on the trip to Seaside ahead of time and can’t really predict the weather. The weekend we went to Seaside it was 100F in Portland. It meant lot of people were going to the coast to stay out of the heat. Seaside is not our top choice to visit because my company was set some guidance because of COVID and we really needed a getaway so we came to Seaside. You can pretty much walk to everywhere in Seaside and parking could be a nightmare. The hotel was kind enough to let us park at their parking lot prior to checking in. We grabbed our late lunch and check in the room. The staff was friendly and easy check in process. Our room was on 3rd floor with balcony. There is a fan but no AC. Since it is facing south, the room was very hot. We wiped down everything and opened the window and patio door hoping to cool it down. We did not use the pool and it sounded like people would need to make reservation to use the pool and have the whole pool by yourself. This is perfect location for sure to walk to the beach and everywhere in Seaside! It is great view and we watched the sunset. They offer grab n go breakfast in the morning with pre-selected breakfast item and I like this idea! It is so close to the beach that we could hear lot of people walking and talking, even firework at midnight which I did not expect. Overall we had a nice stay but the room was too warm for us even the fan was on the whole night with window opened.

If you only want a beachfront place. This is the motel for you.
This motel is in DESPERATE need of a remodel. Old and small. Old junky bunk beds kept my kids up squeaking all night.
Covid breakfast was ok
Pool is impossible to get a time slot (even when promised first pick in the morning)
The website photos are beautiful (seriously the photographer is a genius). Real thing is much different than the photos.
We were expecting a bigger room with the bathroom sinks outside the toilet room (bathroom was so old and tiny)
We had something all over our floor at check in. Our shoes stuck to the floor with every step. I went to the front desk and asked for a mop or towels because the floor was so bad and was told they “couldn’t let me ruin their towels that way”. Ugh. I told her the floor was unacceptable & please come clean it. She hesitantly found me some old towels at this point.
No air conditioning. Even though it was chilly outside the room was like an oven. The tiny little windows did nothing to cool the room.
My recommendation is to spend a little more and stay somewhere else. It’s worth the block walk to the beach.

We stayed here in June 2021 for just one night on a road trip, and had a super stay. The family room was perfect for our party that included 3 kids and a dog. It has a separate room with a single-over-double bunk for the kids, and a queen sized bed in the main room for adults. It was immaculately clean and the beds extremely comfortable. The location is perfect, right on the beach, and we could watch the kids swinging and hanging out on the beach right from our room. It's close to many restaurants and fun activities on the main drag too, and our tweens loved it. Windows are operable so you get fresh air, the bathroom was very nice (good water pressure, plenty of hot water, a proper door that closes) and all in all we felt it was really good value for money. You can't book the family room online, I don't think, but call the hotel directly and they can allocate it to you.

7yrs, 10yrs and 2 adults. We drove up, parked easily and checked in with no hassle. Great friendly staff that gave great references to places to hang/ eat and shop for essentials. Right on the beach with amazing views and sunsets (when it's not foggy). We witness a wedding on the beach the 2nd day. Stayed for 2 nigts, each morning you pick-up a to -go breakfast bag to be eaten in your own room. There is no AC but all you need it open the windows and the cool sea breeze cools the room in 20mins. Only cons is the inconsistent hot water during "rush hour" showers.

Yes the layout is very good. We were very close to the elevator.
yes they do have pet friendly rooms
We have a HUGE beach with miles of sand. Mostly sand dollars out here, but at low tide we do have shells and great rocks. Jellyfish on the beach are uncommon but happen. The water is the great Pacific Ocean and is typically a bright or steely blue. I hope we can welcome you!
Hi Karen!
Winter rates start now! Our hotel has changed policies and all rooms are pet friendly. So rest assured you'll have a lovely ocean-front room and can bring your dog! If you are bringing a certified service dog please let our reservations team know so that we can waive any pet fees. If you have more questions please contact the property directly at 503-738-6368. We are open 24 hours a day.
Thank you,
Tara T.

Of course!!!! There are no "private" beaches there, and the Seashore is just a couple of steps away from miles of sand and the beautiful Pacific. If you have a dog, bring him - all of you will have a blast. Have fun!!!
