I've been trying for a month to get a refund. Promised it two weeks ago, and then, "oh sorry, Covid.....we promise Friday. it's now Thursday and nothing. Hotel.com was NO help either.Cancel 2 mo early
Don’t rent this motel unless it’s the only one left. The bed was horrible like sleeping on straight up springs; the pillows were flat like sleeping on a folded up hoodie; we had a homeless guy sleeping underneath of our window snoring all night; the maid did not clean up our room rather she came in and partly made the bed and that’s about it. It’s right on the promenade which is nice but at the same time everybody that walks by stares right into the room which is kind of awkward when you’re trying to relax. If you enjoy going back into the 70s or early 80s this is your room. That’s probably the last time the mattresses and pillows were changed as well. The staff was really nice but the office smelled so bad I could hardly stand being in there longer than 30 seconds. The only reason it gets two points instead of one is its proximity to the beach.…
Seaside Oregon is a place of serenity where you can just sit back and relax..whether your with your kids or as a couple it has something for all ages..the beach and ocean are wonderful..all kinds of restaurants within walking distance..and different little shops to explore..we always have a great time when we come here.
This place is NOT average as the reviews suggest. It’s glory days were clearly in the 70’s. The front desk smells like wet dog and the rooms scream for maintenance. The doors are scuffed and beaten up showing that management does not care about the rooms appearance. Fixtures such as shower heads are loose and falling down. The beds are not only uncomfortable but creak like something from a cheap flophouse. I can only imagine if the surface things are in such poor condition how little attention is put into cleaning. Proximity to the beach is often noted as a plus.....sure hope you like the drunken passerby by parading next to your window all night long.
We slept well, and we appreciated the easy access to the beach, Broadway, etc. It was very handy having a full kitchen. There were plenty of electrical outlets and free WiFi. Judy helped us and had great suggestions for dinner. The service was excellent. If we're in Seaside again, we'll stay here.
