Experience the best of Seaside, OR. while staying at Sand and Sea. Getting to the beach and Seaside attractions is easy when here. After relaxing on the balcony, head out to the Promenade, a pedestrian-friendly paved path right in front of the building. Stroll north two blocks to Broadway Street where you'll find taffy shops, restaurants, and antique stores. Bring your quarters to the arcade and your appetite for pub fare at Seaside Brewing Company, then top off the day with a campfire on the beach. Within the condo complex, you will also have access to convenient elevators, an indoor heated swimming pool, and even a relaxing sauna. Dogs are welcome in most of the Condos. If you're looking for a home base for an Oregon Coast adventure, this Seaside condo is the place!

We stayed at Sand & Sea #412 for 2 nights in late September. The condo was amazing. It was just recently sold and the new owners have repainted, replaced all the furniture and added lots of local art. I went with a friend and we had a great time. The large dining table was perfect for after-dinner games. The living room was very comfortable for watching TV or hanging out. We loved the large windows and the partial view of the ocean from certain parts of the dining table. There was also a nice balcony with a great view of the ocean. Both bedrooms were nicely furnished with new bed linens, and the bathrooms even had heated floors! The bathrooms felt like you were at a spa. The location was perfect, you could go right out of the building and be on the Promenade to walk, or get right onto the beach. Everything was high quality and very clean.

Sand & Sea: Just Enuf (308)- I booked this condo for business, and what a perfect spot! Many of the Oregon coast condo's in Seaside are not overly modern and need some renovation. This place in one of the best places you can stay in Seaside. If you can snag a waterfront view like this unit, it doesn't get much better. It almost doesn't matter the floor you are on- the ocean front units are just amazing. Not overly noisy and amazing views, while being in the heart of it all- walking distance to everything. Perfect for families as well. If you have a pet, there are pet friendly units but they mostly seem to face the mountain or Tillamook head vs. being a direct ocean view. Parking is easy and in a lot behind the building.

My husband and I stayed the last few nights, looking forward to a quiet holiday break. The last two mornings we have woken to pounding hammers next door due to remodeling. We respectfully asked for a 1 hour late check out tomorrow to get a little extra sleep. The person at the desk said he could not help us even though many had complained about the noise. It is sad that Sea & Surf does not give their employees the latitude to allow guests a check out 1 hour later then normal due to construction noise.

Thank you for staying with us and taking the time to leave this feedback and review! We're disappointed to hear that your experience in the home was not the relaxing vacation for which you had planned. Due to increased cleaning required during the pandemic, we are unable to offer early check ins or late check outs at this time. We understand that this can be frustrating and we appreciate your patience while we continue to adapt and make improvements for future guests. We hope that you were still otherwise able to enjoy this cozy, seaside condo. We hope we have the chance to host you for a more relaxing stay in the future!

We are the coaches of an instate basketball team that ends our season with a trip to Seaside every year. We went to book a room for this seasons stay, and found out that it had been taken over by a property management company. We explained how we had been staying here for YEARS, and how they people there would always offer a "basketball team" special rate that included buy one night get one free. We would always make sure that our team stayed here as it was convenient and they took such good care of us. We also made sure that other teams from our school booked here to give them as much business as we could. The person on the phone not only acted like they knew nothing of the deal, which surprises me as I'm sure this was a huge part of their February business, but they just didn't care. They not only didn't offer a special, they hiked the rates way up! As we expressed our discontent, the only thing they could say is "we will make an note of your concern" This is a real shame, We have passed the word on to the other 7 teams from our school, none of us will return, I encourage all other basketball teams from out of town to do the same. An unfortunate mistake on their part.

Thank you for taking the time to share your review with us. We are sorry to see that your stay did not go as expected with the change in management. We are a large rental management company, and as such we do our best to keep our discounts and offers uniform. At this time we do not have any BOGO specials, but if you call our reservations sales team they will be happy to assist you in finding locations and offers ideal for your needs. These condos are in a terrific spot and are perfect as a home base for an exploration of Seaside and the surrounding area! We hope to see you soon!

Was notified 2 weeks before our trip that our unit is under construction and will not be available. They made no effort to notify us sooner or find alternate accommodations. There are absolutely no other condo units available this close to the annual Seaside volleyball tournament, so they completely screwed us. No offer of a discount in the future, all we got was a contrite apology and our deposit back. Thanks for holding on to our money for 6 months!

The minute the construction company notified us of the delays we immediately notified all our guests. We made our best effort to find comparable accommodations with other area hotels and condos, even securing special discounts for our displaced guests. It is our policy to take down an advance deposit on all reservations.

Sand & Sea Condominiums in Vacasa website has not more than very nice pictures and good reviews but what an unpleasant surprise when we arrived to a very old and run down furniture with dirty and old appliances. The unpleasant surprise started a soon as we open the door a musty smell came out. Therefore, here are few things to consider:

1. The media center to our surprised was all messed up. All the HDMIs were mixed and we were unable to watch cable TV so we went out and rented a movie but the DVD didn’t work either. it seems to skip the movie every few minutes. We had to spend a few hours to understand how the cable/TV system was connected, for some reason It wasn’t connected the way it says on labels.
2. The kitchen is out dated and when I say out dated: The kitchen drawers are not property working. The silverware drawer drops every single time you open it.
3. The sink faucet is hard to open.
4. The stove is damage and dirty.
5. The countertop is old and damage.
6. It took some time to make the dishwasher door to work. The door doesn’t properly close anymore.
7. The wood cutting board in between the refrigerator and the stove was full of crumbs and dirty.
8. Once you open the unit front door, an intense, awful smell comes out.
9. The balcony light was out.
10. Few of the outlets in the living room were damage or not working.
11. There was no laundry soap provided.
12. Amenities were closed on Christmas Day and not conveniently accessible.
13. One of the elevator is not working at all and the one working, the door gets stuck all the time.
14. Very unpleasant to listen to unwelcoming comments from employees passing by and inside the only functioning elevator.

I will say this property is in need of a major renovation from the kitchen to the bedrooms. But also I strongly believe Sand and Sea Condominiums are desperately in need of a new management company that truly cares about customers and strive to please and make your stay memorable and leave with the feeling of coming back soon. But to open the door and walk into this awful place it is not only bad business but also very disrespectful to customers. While there all you want is to get out of there, and this shouldn’t be the case. I will not stay here again or recommend this property. One of the reason people go away on vacation is to stop thinking about the daily activities and responsibilities, when you arrived to your condo/hotel the last thing you want to do is to stress out or worry about anything. Rather be around in a worry free environment. This is not the case at the Vacasa: Sand and Sea Condos.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. We regret to see that you did not better enjoy your experience at this condo. We take all guest feedback very seriously and have advised the Property Manager of your comments. All items that can be addressed immediately have been taken care of, and the rest will be taken under consideration. These condos have a wonderful location (especially if you like to people watch at the Prom), trolleys for convenience with your luggage, fun amenities (including a pool for those that are not fond of ocean swimming), and are a great value! We look forward to helping many guests in the future have a successful Oregon coast vacation!

We have been going to Sand and Sea since I was a child. Because we always travel in a group, it suits us perfectly. Yes, some of the units can be dated as they are privately owned but it never took away from our experience. Even the small pool brought us great joy.
A few months ago, I was looking into rates and such for a last minute trip we were going to be going on. I was devastated to learn they had switched to property management. During that time, (Sept), they were requiring a two night stay. I just looked, hoping for some sort of change and while it does look like you can book one night, that one night stay in a room that rents for $165 is going to cost you $297!!!!!! What hotel charges a cleaning fee?? $107 in fees total. That is the price of a room in November!!! I understand they are privately owned but come on! During the winter months, just about every year, we took advantage of their buy one night, get one free deal. Well, not anymore. Even if they were to offer it again, It would be more expensive than paying full price at another hotel. This is so upsetting to me as it feels like the end of an era but we will no longer be going there.

The rental management company confirmed our reservation on the 17th. We called to add 2 more people on to our reservation a day before our arrival. The rental management company and the front desk staff both okayed the additional people and noted the reservation. We drove in from out of state to reach our destination, only to hear from the front desk that our reservation had been cancelled 3 days earlier (not by us). This "cancellation" was odd since we never received an email, refund or notice even when we called to add the 2 additional people to our reservation. The front desk staff made reference that they had extended the prior guest stay because our reservation was "cancelled". The front desk told us they didn't have any rooms for us and were not going to let us stay in the room we had paid for. Rather than resolving this issue, they had the rental management company call us directly to solve the problem they created. The management company wouldn't help us find another place to stay anywhere in Seaside. In the end neither the front desk staff or management company made the situation right. We told them to give us a refund and we were left trying to find last minute accommodations.

Got down here Sunday for 5 days with 3 grandbabies, 3-years, 1-year and 2 months. Arrived about 3pm from Seattle and checked if we could check-in early, room wasn't ready yet because they were short handed, she said it would be ready at 4 they were finishing up one room then doing ours. Came back at 4 because with 3 small children we just wanted to get unpacked and settled! Were told it was "almost" done, so we walked around a bit more, THEN were told they hadn't even STARTED our room yet and it wouldn't be ready till after 5!! In my opinion if someone is ready to check in and you know they have 3 small children couldn't you get on that room and get it done?!? Other than that our stay has been ok, condo is pretty outdated and the beds are far from comfortable and very squeaky. Plenty of other places to stay next time though!
