The service was terrible. The room was not cleaned prior to arrival, the shower leaked onto the floor and Jaccuzzi worked intermittently. The following day when we returned to the room there were no electric in the room. Asked the front desk if there were any personnel to resolve the issues, the clerk stated we needed to wait till morning and speak with the manager. When we checked out of the hotel the issues were not resolved. Will not recommend this hotel.

I would like to file a complaint against Seaside Oceanfront Inn, in Seaside, OR. They have false information about the oceanfront rentals. The rental property was advertised as a nice oceanfront property and when we arrived it was like a two car, two story garage made into a crappy room in the back of the inn. The furniture and carpet was stained. There was mold in the bathroom. My husband and I immediately felt sick and had a scratchy throat. We have asked for our money back and they refused. We left because our health is more important. This place is disgusting and should be shut down! Please DO NOT rent from this place.

This hotel does not have all the services that are listed on the website. Room sold as having air conditioners. When I arrived the room 80 degrees and 60% humidity. Windows didn’t open. I went to front office and was told they are having a. Electrical problem and the A/C in the room was broken. And they were oils not be able fix it. All windows are permanently locked. The sent up a dirty unclean fan that had a broken stand. When complained to the owner he was threatened me. ultimately he didn’t want to bothered. Ended up at the best western in a room that was cheaper, all advertised services work. Room had a balcony for less money. If you expect quality and a respectful experience do not stay here. It is a scam they do not provide services that advertised.

This place is one of the most terrible places we stayed. It is smelly, dirty, dusty and needs a complete renovation and deep deep clean. It is absolutely not worth the money. Who ever is maintaining this place doesn’t do his job, lots of stains, from bed sheets to carpet, rocking toilet to moldy windows etc.

So, on December 23, 2022 my girlfriend and I were headed to Astoria from Springfield to stay at the Hotel Elliott. On our way, we were contacted by the hotel Elliott manager that there was a power outage and they didn’t foresee it coming back on anytime soon, and that they weren’t checking anyone in, but she had recommended a few other places to stay and this was one of them. We asked if the power came back on if we could still check in, she said that if the power came back on within the next hour and a half or so (this was around 5p) that we could check in. We make it to Seaside and it’s going on 6pm so we decide to book a room at this place. We checked in and weren't even out of the office for a minute when hotel Elliot manager called and told us the power was back on, and then we could check in, so I went back into the office not even a minute after we had gotten the keys, and told the desk clerk that we didn’t need the room after all, that the Elliott called and had gotten the power back on. She said she could. I guess she was refund, which I said we never even got in the room. We didn’t want to have to get another room and then check out in the morning only to wait to check in to the Elliott. Not happy at all.

Love the view! The rooms are very small but they are decorated pretty neat. This is an older hotel that appears to be in a state of upgrade. Would recommend that is you have allergies or respiratory issues wait for the bathrooms of all of our rooms had mold around the tubs. Little things like no vending machines, Ice machine on one floor stopped working on the first of three days. Their parking is very tight with limited spaces so maybe plan on parking in the overthrow or the street.

I'd give this a 'no star' rating if I could. However, if you like a room that has drills, hammers and sawzall cutting saws going on directly above you on a weekend stay then this is the place for you. It wasn't for us so we went to the front desk and approached Wendy about the problem, kindly wondering what was going on and would she be willing to comp us for one of the two nights we were staying. It was clear that she knew this construction would be happening above us during our stay when she handed us the keys after taking payment for the second night's stay and immediately became defensive and told us she was refunding our money for the second night's stay and that if we didn't leave the property in 30 minutes she was calling the police. In her words, "how do you expect us to improve our property if we aren't allowed to work on it?" My parting words, "Thank you for the excellent customer service." (We found a far far better accomodation in Long Beach, WA for nearly the same price but 10x the value and quality.)

The location is great and the room clean, cozy and comfortable. I appreciated the in-room fridge and coffee maker that had a large selection of coffee. The room has a fireplace which I didn't use because it was 85 degrees in Seaside (the a/c kept the room cool) is a nice touch. The bathroom didn't have a tub but dual shower heads with good water pressure. Parking is available on-site, across the street or along the west side of Beach Street. The bed was comfortable which had four nice pillows. The second story room had a nice view of the beach along with a small couch and chair. Lighting in the room was good for bedtime reading. There is an on-site restaurant that offers a good selection of dining options along with cocktails, beer and wine, During my short 2-day stay I did not have the chance to eat there. This was my first stay at The Seaside Oceanfront Inn and will not be my last!

This quaint little inn is a great place to stay. It’s right on the Promenade and the staff is very helpful and friendly. The only issue with our mountainside room was that there wasn’t much luggage space but bed was great and it was great value for what we paid. It’s a great place to stay just a few minutes walk to restaurants and bars.

I wanted to rate this hotel better. The employees are 5-Star but that’s where it ended. My partner and I booked a deluxe king oceanfront room. We were pleasantly surprised that we were given the Lewis and Clark suite! Unfortunately there was more wrong than right. The 2nd bedroom had black mold around the window a/c unit and window itself. The windows were so dirty you could barely see out them. The bathroom floor creaked and sagged, the toilet rocked side to side making you want to grab the toilet paper holder so you didn’t fall over. The main bedroom with the ocean view had cleaner windows but still dirtier than you would expect for a paid for feature. The bed was rock hard, had no mattress cover or pillow top. The tv system was confusing to operate as it is really two different systems with instructions for accessing only one. The satellite service continually buffered and froze the pic while trying to watch. Also don’t plan on streaming anything or uploading files or pics as the wireless limps along at its best. You could distract yourself and instead listen to every word the guests in the next room are saying or listen to every movement made by the upstairs guest. Or open the windows and hear the patrons dining at Maggies downstairs. All of in all I cannot recommend staying here especially for the price.
