Love the view! The rooms are very small but they are decorated pretty neat. This is an older hotel that appears to be in a state of upgrade. Would recommend that is you have allergies or respiratory issues wait for the bathrooms of all of our rooms had mold around the tubs. Little things like no vending machines, Ice machine on one floor stopped working on the first of three days. Their parking is very tight with limited spaces so maybe plan on parking in the overthrow or the street.

This quaint little inn is a great place to stay. It’s right on the Promenade and the staff is very helpful and friendly. The only issue with our mountainside room was that there wasn’t much luggage space but bed was great and it was great value for what we paid. It’s a great place to stay just a few minutes walk to restaurants and bars.

My husband and I had a two-night stay at the Seaside Oceanfront Inn, and we really enjoyed ourselves. The front desk service was friendly and helpful, and our accommodations were nice, especially the jacuzzi tub! The inn is located within an easy walk to the beach as well as the Seaside shops and restaurants. We had a wonderful time and would stay there again!

Sometimes it feels like a mistake to let the world in on one of my favorite special places, but I’ll be fair, and share my experience, and wish the very best for a small business. We truly love this little gem. My parents snd grandparents were Seaside, natives, but haven’t had a home there for many years. When we have the chance to go back, we always hope there will be a vacancy here. It’s so charming, and easy. The management and staff are extremely accommodating, and enthusiastic. They truly treat us like honored guests. We love the fact that we are able to be on the prom in just a few steps, yet just enough away from the turnaround to have more quiet. The fact that there is fine dining, and a lovely bar downstairs, at Maggie’s, just gilds the lily! We are able to park the car, and leave it for our stay. Everything we want is within walking distance. The rooms we have stayed in have windows that open, to hear and smell the sea. We have traveled a lot for work, and for pleasure, so our expectations are both high, and realistic. This has the feel of a bed and breakfast. Each suite has its own character and vibe. If you book early, you can have the room that will perfectly fit the type of needs and experience you’re looking for. If you like to bring your pet to the beach, you and the pet will love this! If you want a luxury spa tub, and an expansive sea view, you can get that. If you just want to be close to the beach, and a gourmand’s delight, you can save a little on the room, and get one of the smaller, less expensive options. You’ll be charmed in any of them. Yes, the building is older. No, this is not a chain hotel where everything can be expected to be just like it is in Wichita. It’s beachy, slightly funky, and always evolving. Some of the rooms have been completely renovated, some have not. I think some of the negative reviews were from people who weren’t okay with that. The sheets are still clean, the towels are thick and fluffy, the water runs hot, the refrigerator runs cold, the in-room Keurig makes great coffee, the beds are still comfortable, and the service is still hospitable. If the updates are important to you, I suggest calling them direct, and asking for one of the updated suites when you book. P.S. On our last visit, I noticed that our room had excellent ADA accommodations. Access to the prom would be from the street 2 blocks away, but entirely do

What you see in the pictures they advertise and what you get are not close to accurate. I normally don't do reviews but felt totally mislead when deciding to stay here. I think some of their oceanfront suites may be on the nicer side but our room needed some serious help. Carpet old and stained, mold/mildew in tub grout, s of those you'll be parking across the street or on the street. Oh and no microwaves in the room either but there is a community microwave on the 3rd floor if you feel so inclined.
Apparently I wasn't the only one who wasn't happy with their room as when I went to the office to complain the office attendant was on the phone talking to a guest who wasn't happy with their room either. She asked what she could do but all the other rooms were booked so I told her apparently there is nothing you can do.
Then after checking out I get a email saying to make sure and leave a positive review here or where you did your booking. But if your dissatisfied with your stay to please send a email or call instead.....seriously!🙄
The location is wonderful as it's right on the prom and close to all the shops. It has great potential but I feel the owners must be really tight with their money because for what they charge they should have plenty for some renovation work.

I wanted to rate this hotel better. The employees are 5-Star but that’s where it ended. My partner and I booked a deluxe king oceanfront room. We were pleasantly surprised that we were given the Lewis and Clark suite! Unfortunately there was more wrong than right. The 2nd bedroom had black mold around the window a/c unit and window itself. The windows were so dirty you could barely see out them. The bathroom floor creaked and sagged, the toilet rocked side to side making you want to grab the toilet paper holder so you didn’t fall over. The main bedroom with the ocean view had cleaner windows but still dirtier than you would expect for a paid for feature. The bed was rock hard, had no mattress cover or pillow top. The tv system was confusing to operate as it is really two different systems with instructions for accessing only one. The satellite service continually buffered and froze the pic while trying to watch. Also don’t plan on streaming anything or uploading files or pics as the wireless limps along at its best. You could distract yourself and instead listen to every word the guests in the next room are saying or listen to every movement made by the upstairs guest. Or open the windows and hear the patrons dining at Maggies downstairs. All of in all I cannot recommend staying here especially for the price.

It all started off bad when we first arrived. After a long day's drive, there was no one to check us in - at a reasonable 5 pm. We left a message to call us back and checked out the town. An hour later no one had called. It required a second call on our part to even get someone to let us in to our room. No apologies. Very unprofessional. If you decide to book an ocean view room, be aware if you don't request a high floor on the ocean view, in advance, you will be able to wave at all the people on the promenade and will greatly suffer from the noise of diners downstairs. They don't even have top/down blinds that allow you to enjoy the view from the top while allowing privacy from the bottom. So, we were stuck. We were offered the "opportunity" to PAY for the higher rate to their "suite" - not even discounted as a gesture of good will. So, they let another room go empty just to keep us in our place. For the room itself, the carpet was filthy. And in looking at another reviewer's issue that room would likely have been a disaster because of all the things she outlined regarding cleanliness. Unlike the other reviewer though, our interaction with Wendy, the manager, was horrendous. She did listen to our issues and said she would call us after a review of our situation. Almost a week later I called because I had not heard. I left a message and that was not returned. Finally, my second call was returned and she not very politely told me there was nothing she would do regarding an adjustment after the fact, right before she hung up on me. She claimed to want guests to feel special. Well, they failed. The view is nice but that is a review of mother nature.

My boyfriend and I stayed one night at the Seaside during our visit to the Oregon and Seattle area. We arrived early so our room was not ready, but the front desk attendant made a few lunch suggestions and offered to call us when our room was ready. The hotel is on the promenade so you can walk everywhere. After lunch at Sam’s we returned to the hotel and our room was ready. A prior guest had broken the chairs so the front desk let us know that she had to replace them with metal chairs. Not ideal, but this is a small quaint hotel so we understood this was all she could do at that time and it didn’t damper our stay. Due to covid safety measures, we were given a coffee “package” to make coffee in our room. The attendant also made some great suggestions for dinner as well as where we could go to watch the sunset. We were pleasantly surprised by the gorgeous view. The bed was comfortable, and the shower and jacuzzi tub relaxing. This hotel is a typically beach side hotel and exactly what we were looking for: comfortable, nice views, walkable at a good price.

I booked the Oceanfront Penthouse suite (NW Timber room). It's basically an old motel room with ocean view. There was a bathroom on the first floor, which has a single sink and a toilet. It’s a very old tiny sink (some parts are missing), with a big glass shelf above the sink. I was not even able to wash my face. When I looked down, it looked so dirty along the baseboard and floor. I opened the cabinet under the sink, and there was a super dirty hairdryer, shampoo, conditioner and a towel on the bottom. Then I realized the cabinet doesn’t even have a bottom board. They were all laying on the dirty floor. When I looked up, the fan has a lot of dust hanging on all the 4 sides. The stairs that go to the second floor was so dirty with a lot of stains. On the second floor there was a tiny outdated green colored sink, a tiny green and gold colored shower, and an old green colored jetted bathtub. If they posted these REAL photos of the bathroom on the website, I would not even consider this hotel. The bedsheet we got had a big dirty stain on it. The worst thing was the AC machine in the room. It was old, loud and not able to adjust the temperature, you can’t tell what the temperature is in the room.

Parking was awful. The owner was extremely unfriendly at check-in. Late in the evening, as we returned for the night, we noticed a truck getting ready to leave by the office, so we pulled over by the curb to wait as the parking lot was very tight. The truck processed to back up out of the oarkingblot at a high rate straight at our vehicle and did not hit the brakes until I was laying on my horn. Then the truck pulled forward turned around and cane back at us with his window down. He made a few start ass comments as to he had cameras and could see us and we weren't supposed to be parked there. The guy was the owner of the hotel!!!! Same unfriendly guy that had checked me in and saw my vehicle a few hours prior. He did not apologize or anything. Very rude. He did this on purpose just to mess with us because he didn't like where we had stopped. He could have very easily backed the other direction since he was driving that way anyways. Oh and the very nice deep bath in our room would not hold water either! Needless to say because of the actions of the owner and his attitude we will Never stay here again and will make sure to tell everyone we know!!
