We stayed with our neighbors in a Tent Cabin site at Camp Dakota. We had been on a day trip once several years ago, but had never stayed over. My boys and neighbor kids participated in paintball, adventure course, gold pining and treasure hunting. The staff was beyond gracious and polite at EVERY encounter. There are some places that claim... More

Would definitely go again!! Great value, was very clean and a nice secure family oriented getaway. Campground had wood delivered before arrival, staff at registration were knowledgeable prompt and very attentive to our needs. Rope climbing event, tomahawk toss, paintball and the frisbee golf all were great adventures!! Kids left happy, content and have great memories of their stay. We... More

We had a wonderful family trip! It's a bit expensive as the activities add up but the experiences are worth it! The ropes courses are really exciting, the zip lines are a blast and we enjoyed the rock wall and other activities offered! We felt very safe while on the elements and while camping. Staff are very knowledgeable, helpful and... More

It was a really positive experience for everyone. We took 3 girls of different degrees of activity levels, and there was something for them all. The staff was mostly very helpful. We were a little slow understanding how everything worked but they were patient and really helped to make the most of our camping package. The yurt was clean and... More

Great staff, very friendly. Special thanks to Rainbow and Beetlejuice for an amazing zip line and challenge course tour. We brought 6 teenagers who had a blast. Lots of fun things to keep them occupied - rock climbing, tomahawk throw, disc golf, etc... Campsites were clean.

Our son has sensory and speech challenges. The exuberant and considerate staff were dedicated to his positive experience. He did zip line and the brave course, and loved it, was such a fabulous way to kick off the summer. If you have kids, this is the ideal way to engage with them!

I took my two kids ages 26, 31..friend 26 & 3 grandkids 2,3&5. You will have to sign a waiver for every family member releasing the Camp & all staff of any & all responsibility. (we had no concerns about this until my son stepped off a step on our porch and his leg went through the wood step which... More

Loved Camp Dakota! Such a fun experience. Love supporting a family owned business. Very profession, fun without being cheesy. Great experience. Def recommend it to my friends, especially people with kids. I loved staying in the Tee Pee also, such a unique experience.

My two sons and I (ages 6, 10) wanted to go do something different for spring break, so we booked Camp Dakota for two nights in a 20ft yurt. The Yurt was good having the BBQ that comes with it is very convenient. The staff was friendly for the most part. We stayed very busy from the time we got... More

after spending over $400 for a 3 night camping trip "package" I was quite disappointed when I kept pulling out cash and my debit card throughout the trip for all the extras that weren't included. We did not stay in yurt or cabin...this was tent camping folks. we were right next to porta potties so the door slamming was all... More
