The owner is working on this Motel and is making good progress. It was clean and the beds were comfortable. It is close to the Freeway which makes it convenient. The owner was planting new rose bushes and other bushes that will make the property very nice. The owner is nice and accomodating.

This was amazing motel Close to motorway The owners went out of their way to make us welcome and comfortable. We accidentally left expensive jewelry behind and they notified us and then ensured it was over night FedExed to our LA hotel in time for our departure home Ray Nugent

My two friends and I stayed here for one night during our two month road trip. The room was spacious and clean, the ac was quiet and they had the best wi-fi so far of all the motels we had stayed in. The staff recommended all the tourist attractions in the area. The price was okay compared to california prices!

My wife and I were on our way from Seattle to California, and stayed one night at the Shady Oaks Motel in Roseburg, OR. The Motel is quite accessible from I-5 (S), yet it is located in a quiet country setting. The owners were very friendly and helpful in assisting us locate an excellent dining facility in nearby in "old... More

I loved this place! The price was fabulous and the room clean and comfortable. Where else can you get a 2nd cup of coffee for 20 cents? Fresh paint and parking right in front of room. Needs a name change. Maybe to Rose Motel when wife finishes her garden. Husband owner was incredibly kind and hospitable.

I would not stay there. Old couches out front, Rooms dark and dirty. Owner had doors locked to office and was very unfriendly. Rooms nothing like the pictures. There was piles of dirt around the front. There where migrate workers sitting out front drinking. I was afraid to get out of my car!

I've stayed at this motel twice in two separate rooms. Neither time did the wifi work, even when standing outside the office with my ipad. Otherwise, its OK if you're looking for a rock bottom price with quick access to I-5.

Heading up I-5 on the last leg of a two-week camping road trip, we wanted a quick on/quick off motel for our last night. Motels aren’t hard to find, but we prefer the old-fashioned places with a little character instead of the typical Holiday Inn Expresses or Motel 6’s that congregate at nearly every freeway exit. How lucky we were... More

We stay every year for Spring Fair. The owners are very friendly and always remember us and the extra towels we always ask for. :-) It's a vintage roadtrip motel where you park in front of your room. The beds are comfortable and our room was on the end so it had an extra window:-) This is a great hotel... More

Stay away from this dump!!! I have friends still staying there right now that are part of a work crew. I learned personally that right from the beginning of the stay, the rooms weren't even cleaned. I can concur on the condition of the rooms. My room was the same way. I opted to just go and stay at another... More
