It was a cool little place about 40 minutes from Crater Lake. The area was awesome and the front desk lady provided some cool little local hikes to check out. The room was a little on the small side but it was clean and that's what we wanted. Awesome resturants near by like the Pizza Parlor and Beckies. The hotel... More

Hotel amenities are about average. TV didn't work well and bedding/towels similar to a Super 8. But the Dinner house is outstanding. The ribeye steak was super delicious and the salad was fresh and bouncy. Wine list is top quality. The town is super peaceful and located next several cool local waterfalls and cool sights. Would stay here again.

We stayed in the hotel portion which is a B&B. Although the room was tiny we had a wonderful stay. Breakfasts were outstanding and Christina "My Pleasure" was our favorite server. "Good" and "Dandy" at the front desk were a lot of fun too.

Loved our stay at Historic Prospect Hotel while we visited Crater Lake. Family-friendly, though dated, accommodations. Loved the property and enjoyed a picnic dinner outside on our first night and a delicious dinner in the restaurant on our second night. Delicious breakfast as well. Small property with great, small town customer service.

We stayed in the motel portion of the Prospect property. While the room cannot be described as luxurious, everything was clean and the beds were very comfortable! Make note, however, reservations are required for dinner in the main inn, and are suggested for breakfast.

This location has two parts. Rooms in the main historic hotel and then a "motel" that was added on, as near as we can guess by the furnishings, in the 1950's. This review is on one of the motel room additions. First, regardless of location, sites to see nearby etc, a room should have a comfortable bed. After all, that... More

I stayed in the motel part, not the historic hotel, which was basic but fine. The problem was the people. Very snobby, uncaring, cold and patronizing. I almost left until Fred, the owner, came by to fix various things. Never could figure out the TV remote even after his visit to fix it! Must buy breakfast. Good food but don't... More

Some guests require lots and lots of attention and hand holding. We understand this and go the extra mile when we can. However we do have other guests that need our attention, too! On a full house Saturday night in the middle of July it can be difficult to give one person all the attention they think they deserve. She... More

Very friendly staff that make sure you have lots of info about the area. We stayed in the handicapped room, the toilet had bars, but the shower is in the tub, so not roll-in. It's pet friendly with a big grassy area for play. The location is about and hour to Crater Lake. We booked because of the rave reviews... More

A great spot to stay near Crater Lake! The Prospect Hotel is comprised of the historic hotel, a motel, and a restaurant, and is about 1 hour from the Crater Lake Rim Road. -- Extras. They are pet friendly and I saw numerous dog owners and their four-legged friends on the property. I think the motel building is pet friendly,... More

In the middle of June we had made reservations to stay for three nights in one of the cabins at Mazama Village at Crater Lake National Park because we planned to do a lot of hiking. The afternoon we arrived it was sunny but cold and two hours later it started snowing. All the trails were closed because of the... More
