Rooms are standard roadside motel but are clean and everything works. 35 minutes to entrance of Crater Lake National Park. Prices much better than lodging in the park. Owners give great advice on scenic waterfalls to see in Prospect area. Nearby restaurant has vegetarian options.

The Prospect Hotel, while truly being the ideal base for day tripping to Crater Lake, is also a wonderful experience all in itself. The grounds are filled with beautiful plants and trees of all types, and the nearby falls are a short and relatively easy walk away. Our room, the "Zane Grey", was very comfortable with it's own bathroom, and nice touches reflecting the author who had once stayed at the property. Breakfast, prepared by Nick, was a delicious helping of Hazelnut French Toast, and a special omelet surprise like we've never experienced, both with a side of fresh fruit. The owner, Fred, couldn't have been more pleasant and informative about the area, offering many suggestions for day trips and dining. We highly recommend taking the opportunity to experience the serenity this establishment has to offer.

Was evacuated from Butte Falls during a pandemic (double whammy). Hotel staff was very kind and accommodating. (I was traveling with 2 cats). Staff went the extra mile. Location is beautiful... right across the street from a babbling river. (you can hear it from my room).

Super friendly and ideal location with local falls and hikes near it as well as easy access to drives to Natural Bridge, chasm etc and of course Crater Lake. Hopefully they will be able to start serving dinner again soon.

Perfect choice for a weekend exploring Crater Lake and the surrounding area. The B&B includes breakfast which was creative and a hearty portion. We loved the hazelnut French toast. The dinner was also outstanding with a wonderful serving of lasagne and prime rib. The room was comfortably small. We enjoyed listening to the crickets with the window wide open. Overall, it was a memorable weekend and the staff worked hard to make sure all of our needs were met.
