The Jupiter is quirky. I love quirky. Its not as painfully hip as The Ace- it has more of a goofiness to it that I relate to, much less self conscious. The rooms are pretty small- but there is an ample covered courtyard to hang out in. The doors are made of chalkboard and I had a blast drawing until... More

Nice hotel at walking distance (20 min) from the city center. They have renovated an old fashioned motel and made it look really nice. Great staff an great place to hang out. The only thing is I missed the fresh air in my room. There is an airco but it blows wind right over the bed. Other thing is that... More

Stayed here in Nov a few nights. The beds are soft and rooms clean. Nothing too fancy but staff are great and very accommodating. Loved it's proximity to E Burnside St. If you are a foodie then this is a great central location for walking to a number of great eateries and assortment of bars. The hotel does have its... More

Not fancy, but clean and comfortable. We asked for a quiet room and were able to get a good nights rest. $15 parking, near cute neighborhoods and breweries, and we rented bikes too! That was the best part--biking around town. The bikes are well kept and they offer helmets too!

You must pay extra to be on the "chill" side of the hotel if you want a quiet room. We were in room 246, and when I checked out I asked the clerk if it was a quieter weekend than usual, because we didn't hear any noise from the bar/music venue. He said it was a very noisy weekend, and... More

The owners have converted a 1950s Travelodge into a great property, complete with a restaurant, lounge, and bar. It's convenient, reasonably priced, very clean, and one-of-a-kind. The rooms aren't big, but they're comfortable -- and feature a blackboard on the door for those visitors who are artistically inclined.

This hotel is conveniently located close to I-5 on the east side of the river. The crowd is generally young, hipster so my husband and I felt a little out of place. The staff was very friendly though. They have a lovely outside courtyard that can be used for relaxing or enjoying a cocktail.

Close to downtown, the airport, and night life. The rooms are themed different with chalk boards on the outside for you or someone interested in you to leave a message. It has a restaurant but that is a different review.

The Jupiter hotel, with smallish rooms, comfortable beds, great murals, theme rooms, and friendly staff and convenient location is well worth noisy stay. The adjacent Doug Fir restaurant is a perfect counterpoint. Great spot for a weekend adventure. There are nice coffee shops and restaurants in the area, and, if you love fresh donuts, a short walk will take you... More
