This is a very good value, with well appointed rooms , a great location adjacent to the Pearl district, close to downtown shopping, and near public transportation stops. Quality restaurants are also nearby.The staff staff were friendly and helpful. We would book this hotel again.

Hotel's Favorite
The Mark Spencer was in a fantastic location, close to many great restaurants, shopping and things to do. Staff were friendly and helpful. Bed was pillowy and soft. Shower worked great. Mini fridge and microwave in room. Free wine and cheese in the lobby every night. Parking was $25 right under the building (you really do not need a car). Overall wonderful.

Last leg for our 25 days round trip. Nice and very warm welcome at the front desk. The room was clean and spacious . Very well located hotel. Staff at front desk was helpful. Easy parking. A good choice for a stop in Portland

Good location: central part of downtown, 10 minute walk to the Riverwalk. Staff is very friendly and very helpful. Brent was consistently helpful throughout our short stay. The room was on the narrower side but was acceptable. There is only one small mirror in the bathroom, making it a bit harder to start the day. The AC unit is a portable solution unit and cranked up strong and noisy air flow no matter what speed it was set at. The shower pressure was on the weaker side. I didn't have much trouble, but definitely, my wife didn't like it. We were able to park our vehicle on the streets nearby, just make sure to pay during enforcing hours, but overnight, between 7PM and 8AM, is free of charge. Like most America cities in the present time, the homelessness situation is easily to be seen in nearby streets, so beware We'd still stay here again if we were to visit Portland again.…

Great staff, nice room, great location. Cramped parking, but not unlike any other place in a downtown area. Stronger than usual "hotel smell". Odd décor in the hallway. Very odd in some cases, but I didn't mind at all. Excellent conversation pieces.

We opted for a large corner room w/ kitchenette. Hotel allowed us an early check ins, which is great. Our room was on the third floor facing 11th and was quiet and pleasant. Bed just okay. Clerks pleasant at front desk. All in all if was a decent stay, for good value, and the location is excellent. Be sure to enjoy nearby Cheryl's or The Daily Feast for great breakfasts.

The location is great for walking around downtown Portland. Staff were all helpful and friendly. The rooms were nice and fun art on the walls. The bed was comfortable and the room was quiet, even after a Pride parade.

Service was excellent, the only downside was the additional $50 per day to park and have my chihuahua stay. Delicious coffee, very clean room, and the location was quite convenient for everywhere I needed to go, in spite of so much construction in the surrounding area.

I was in Portland for a conference and decided to come a few days early to explore the city. I chose the Pearl District because of the safeness of the neighborhood for solo travel and well as the surrounding shops and restaurants. Sadly, given the current state of Portland, the hotel was the bright spot of my “vacation”. The staff was fabulous, room spacious and comfortable (and the shower - lovely!), and location wonderful. The 5pm wine hour was a really nice touch. I would choose this hotel again if I would ever return to Portland - but I likely won’t 😢

Just a block from. Powells and many. good restaurants -- an easy mile walk or tram ride to PSU -- quiet, friendly, nice afternoon wine and cheese. Did not have the promised breakfast bar, no kettle, no tea or. coffee in room, but. there was a micro and a fridge, They. are still recovering from minimal staff after. covid, so no room. change or cleaning while I was there (two days)
