Very old and poorly maintained, but was clean. The smoke detector was hanging from the ceiling by its wires and chirped off and on all night. I assumed the battery was dead. Key card did not work. Toilet ran water when flushed. Noisy. I got the room cheaper than going rate through this site. Good thing because the regular price... More

I researched several hotels for my family of four to stay at prior to our flight out of Portland. Out of the budget hotel category, this one seemed like the best for the money. The location was ok, not the best but not a bad neighborhood. There is no shuttle but the MAX train is right across the street and... More

Thankfully we only stayed one night at this motel. I was quite disappointed as it had fairly good reviews on tripadvisor. First, the positives - the location is excellent, with a light rail station right across the street which gets you downtown in less than 1/2 hour. The Wi-Fi worked well and the front desk staff were friendly and helpful... More

What can I say. The area certainly looked dodgy however entering the room I was pleasantly surprised it was large, had a fridge and microwave two luxury items when travelling. The bed wasn't extremely comfortable and the pillows were pancakes. Someone was playing loud music and the bass was vibrating through the room, I had to ring reception who sorted... More

First off, the location is fantastic. It is directly across the street from a MAX station, and just a couple of miles from the airport. The neighborhood is clean and not as sketchy as what you may expect. Really, it's hard to top the location. The motel itself is clean, if a little dated. They offer a hot tub and... More

I thought we were going into some awful neighborhood according to other reviews but we enjoyed our time and the area. We stayed four nights without a problem and the room was very clean and the bathroom was nice and spacious!!

Spent one night here upon arrival in Portland. Very convenient to the airport, reasonably priced, and clean. The beds were comfortable, but needed a few extra pillows. Good sized fridge in the room was a nice bonus. The only negative was being on the second floor with people moving above us, we could constantly hear the floor creaking.

Normally I don't do economy hotels but this place turned out to be a gem. Great price, outstanding location, clean, very good staff and was an exceptional value. The guests ran from working stiffs to fancy guests who were visiting relatives in a nearby hospital. This seemed to be common at this place. I tweaked my back one day and... More

Right across the street from the bus station and light rail. The best part being the light rail can go straight to and from the airport. Just a few bus stops from multiple great breweries. The rooms were pretty good for the price.

The only reason I can see for staying at this motel is the price. Booked two non-smoking rooms, both smelled of smoke, one so badly that we asked to be moved. How the cleaning staff could not have picked this up is beyond me. The continental breakfast was quite good and was the saving grace for this motel.
