I have lived in the Portland Metropolitan area since I was a young girl and this season is the first time I have heard of Portland's White House. What an unexpected treasure I found! It is exquisite inside with all period furniture and charm. I have booked our corporate Holiday Party there for next week and can't wait to share...

I would likely have given this B&B 5 stars in the summer. However, I stayed in November and I was freezing. The room I was in was very nice and quite big, but the radiator didn't quite fit the bill when it was in the 40's even during the day. I'm from CA so it might be a different experience...

This is a beautiful historic home full of lovely antiques (and a grand piano) in a gorgeous Portland neighborhood. There are good restaurants and bars within walking distance, and it was a short drive to downtown. We were very comfortable, and our room was quite private for a B&B. Don't skip the breakfast, it was fantastic and the setting was...

I booked friends from abroad here for a few days while they were visiting. Though I live nearby I had never been inside, and it's fully restored and beautiful. Breakfast is served in the dining room, all set with china, and it's fantastic (I was invited to join my friends) with a special each morning, and other items as you...

An historic home in a lovely neighborhood. The room was well appointed and the bed was very comfortable. It was a beautiful time of the year to visit Portland. We were able to sleep with the window open and not be bothered by any noise. The breakfast was excellent. We will stay again.

My wife and I stayed 2 nights in this B&B in Portland during a recent road trip from San Francisco to Seattle. The building is beautiful and full of amazing (and expensive looking) artifacts. It is very ornate and not suitable for families with small children. We stayed in the Balcony room, which gave us the "pleasure" of listening to...

Just a wonderful place to stay. The bed was very comfortable. The room was spacious but not too big. The bathroom was nice but consistent with the period of the house. The breakfast was nicely prepared and presented. The neighborhood was quiet and safe. We will definitely stay at the White House when we return to Portland.

We stayed for 4 nights here and it was just ok, the breakfast was very good, however that is about it. We slept in a bed that was far off the ground and it was hard to get into it, I am on the younger side so I use the bed rail to help get in, It would be nice...

The White House is one of our favorite places to stay in Portland. The rooms are lovely, the beds are heavenly, the service is impeccable, and the breakfast is the best ever! Warm bread pudding, with local fruit, sweet whipped cream....so delicious! Lanning & Myra are always so gracious and happy to see every guest that arrives. And it's great...
