The hotel was warn down. When I walked in the door it had a weird smell. I got bit twice by some kinda bug, not a bed bug. Uncomfortable. Would not stay again. In the morning there was a rolly polly bug crawling across the floor. Not something I'm used to seeing in a hotel room.

When we checked in we noticed that the non slip coating on the bath was coming loose but did not really look closely. That night when I had a bath I ended up covered in old adhesive. later I was doing my back exercises on the floor when I discovered a long pin like a hat pin on the carpet... More

This is the most average place in every respect. Quiet part of downtown, onsite parking is $15 and is good until 2:00pm the next day. The pool is fairly nice. Don't expect anything special from the breakfast but it is average.

The pictures make it seem like it's a grand-high end hotel. You enter and it's nice but the rooms are completely old fashioned, but still look okay. All of a sudden our sink bursts with water and gunk comes out, ruining our sink and our floor. We called the front desk 3 times until a guy came and checked it... More

Inside was a little dark. Front desk staff was friendly and helpful. Pool is outdoors only and ice cold, it is supposed to be heated but it wasn't warm enough to swim in. Rooms were a little small but clean. Beds comfortable, nice to have fridge and microwave. Overall a nice stay. Fantastic hot breakfast.

The location of the hotel was great! We walked downtown to a brewery restaurant to sample some local beers. There was the typical city shopping stores and cafes. Right outside the front of the hotel was a train station. We had a rental car and were surprised to be charged $15 for overnight parking on their lot, but it was... More

The day I checked in the front desk staff could not have been more rude, incompetent, and unwilling to help with anything. The staff I talked to in the evenings were nicer and more helpful. The room is reasonably clean, but some of the lights didn't work, the sink didn't properly drain and vending machines didn't work. The hotel is... More

I found this place on Google as we needed a place to stay for one night in Portland. I liked the place a lot but my wife was freaked out by how "shady" it looked and by the fact that she saw a spider on the bed. The place, from the outside, in particular the corridor outside the door looks... More

Great hotel with a really nice breakfast! Clean rooms. Close to downtown. Right across from some type free transportation. Staff very friendly. Workout room small but has several cardio and free weights. Standard hotel room otherwise. Only stayed one night. Nice pool.

We stayed in a deluxe king with microwave, refrigerator, t.v. and coffee maker. It was a good deal compared to other places in the area. It takes about 30 minutes to walk to the Pearl District, 20 minutes to Nordstrom and a few minutes to the waterfront by Tom McCall Park. The parking is good and reasonable compared to other... More
