Not really a hotel, more like a hostel. Parking is terrible-- what few spots they have aren't reserved for hotel guests. Rooms are classic mcmenamins, but these are very small with minimal ventilation (must be why there is a box fan in each room). Stayed one nite on a Sunday and around 1 am we awoke to flashlights shinning into... More

Like all McMenamins the White Eagle Saloon is thriving with echoes of the past. It's a small pub with an area for live music and a few hotel rooms upstairs. The Beer at McMenamins is always good, the food here was good, and the staff were friendly. We live far from this location and happened to be in the area... More

The room was dark with not many amenities, which was actually fine because we weren't even staying 24 hours. I knew there was a chance of loud music going late into the night, but I didn't expect all the other noises even after the music had stopped. There were trains going by, bit jet planes flying low overhead, and because... More

We were looking for a unique experience and that's what we got. A tiny room with weird quotes painted on the walls, awkward shared single room bathrooms and showers trapped in the 1920s and an overall creepy vibe. There's a palm reader on the main level and the basement used to be an opium den. It was perfect! We loved... More

Despite being in the White Eagle for less than 9 hours, it easily met our every need. Arriving just in time for a delicious flight of beer in the beautiful saloon we were cordially checked into our room by the bar master. The rooms are small, minimally equipped and hostel like (with the bathrooms down the hall) but are clean... More

We enjoyed our stay here on our passport hunt. The room we stayed in was small. Pretty much enough room to walk around the bed with enough left over for a couple night stands. Warning: The rooms are above the bar. In essence the band was in my room until 1am when they quit for the night. Outside that, you... More

From music to food to drinks to meetings to a place to work, I love the White Eagle. The acoustics are pretty good here and many cool bands play here. I have a McMenamins Passport, so it was also fun to visit the hotel upstairs and check out the art and potential ghosts. I love most of the McMenamins Pubs,... More

When booking our room it was fast and friendly and done by calling the Mcmenamins Edgefield Hotel as they handle the check in for the White Eagle Hotel. We always try to get to Hotels early in the day to maximize our stay and time together. I did not read that on Sundays there was nobody in the bar available... More

Three of us went to the White Eagle Saloon and Rock & Roll Hotel and we had a blast. The rooms are very comfortable and accommodating. There were 3-bands that played through out the evening, all fantastic. We sat out side and enjoyed a bonfire. Purchased a couple hoodies, we weren't prepared to sit out side so the hoodies were... We stopped here to get a stamp for our McMenamin's passport and although we came during a not so busy time it still buzzed with ambiance. We toured the hotel and looked at all the art which was pretty interesting. Loved the old time photos of the Eagle back in the day. We may stay here one day. Food was... More
