So much packed into this smaller property! Stunning design that starts in the lobby! Hotel staff went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect. The Marketplace has everything from locally roasted coffee, beautiful pastries, sandwiches, NW wines, local snacks and gifts! The rooftop XPort Bar and Lounge was AMAZING! The atmosphere, decor and outside rooftop fire place make this is super fun venue. I took a group of older teens there for dinner (minors allowed until 9pm) and they loved it. The happy hour menu was so delicious we tried almost everything.. and loved them all! The Wagyu beef sliders, crab tots, and chicken were a huge hit! And to top it all off- there is a gorgeous pool, jacuzzi, sauna and workout room! The pool area is super clean and relaxing. The rooms are tastefully appointee with luxury linens and amenities with local artwork. The entire property exceeded my expectations! Perfect location as well.. just 1/2 block from the Portland Police station! Highly recommend!

All public areas (restaurant, gym, rooftop bar) were closed. The Front Desk staff were great and the takeaway breakfast options really rather good. The room was thoughtfully designed and quiet (possibly on account that there were so few guests). Amenities were plentifully supplied on request. Thank you, thank you Lance!

I truly enjoyed my stay at The Porter, very good staff and well appointed accommodations. The decor of the property is wonderful. The location is ideal for the downtown Portland close to the waterfront and right around the corner from the Keller auditorium. Would highly recommend staying at the Porter.

We very much enjoyed our stay at The Porter, which was just a short drive from Union Train Station. Check-in was easy and the staff was friendly. The room was very clean and comfortable, and they even had a dog bed and bowls ready for our traveling canine. We thoroughly enjoyed the hotel's other amenities such as the pool and workout facilities. I used the spin bike while my partner swam laps in the heated pool, which I enjoyed later along with the hot tub and steam room, all conveniently open until midnight. The Porter’s downtown location made the entire weekend easy to get around the city, with walking distance to shopping & restaurants and river front, plus a quick drive over to the east-side. The neighborhood was clean and safe, and I would comfortably take the dog for a walk any hour and enjoy the beauty of the city. I would highly recommend The Porter for anyone staying in Portland that wants an elevated experience with a great central location to see all the city has to offer. We're looking forward to staying at The Porter again, and next time we need to plan to spend more time at the rooftop Xport Bar, which had amazing decor and views - not to be missed!!! Cheers, Dan
