We stayed here for 2 nights to kick off a week-long Oregon road trip and we couldn't have loved it more! The hotel is in a very nice area of Portland. The Pearl District was clean and nice to walk around (no sketchy feeling like other neighborhoods). When we arrived late at night, Alex (valet) and Christine (front desk) couldn't have been nicer! They helped us get the car parked and room checked into in no time after a long cross-country flight! The room was perfectly clean and comfortable! Just what we needed after a long adventuring around all day. We really enjoyed the access to the rooftop garden that offered sweeping views of the city! The breakfast was delicious and loved the fact that they served different flavored waffles each day. Plenty of variety in a clean and welcoming atmosphere. Overall, we had an outstanding stay! Loved the friendly staff throughout, comfortable rooms, and neat amenities. We will definitely be staying here again when we come back to Portland!

Hotel's Favorite
I booked the Hampton for one night's stay before embarking on a week-long road trip through Oregon. I noted in the reservation that this was a birthday trip so they upgraded my room and even offered me a complimentary beer upon check-in! The staff was very friendly and offered great restaurant recommendations nearby. The room was very clean with a comfy bed. The hotel also has a really nice terrace where you can BYOB, eat or just hang out and enjoy the weather. Luckily, there is also a small grocery store across the street that also has a coffee shop inside so we were able to pick up road trip snacks and drinks. The coffee was also a bit better than the coffee served during Hampton's free breakfast. After the road trip, we stayed at a more upscale hotel in Chinatown before making our way to Washington but I wish we would have picked the Hampton for that stay as well. Although Portland is struggling with a homeless problem right now, the Pearl District is a better area than Chinatown. Plus, the Hampton was cheaper and had so many dining options within walking distance. It also would have been nice to spend more time on the terrace.

Decent location. A recently renovated hotel with nice rooms and lobby. The included breakfast is reasonable and better than comparative hotels free breakfast. Gym is quite good. I had a 2 night stay and was told by front desk staff that my room COULD NOT be cleaned during my stay because of covid protocols (makes no sense - you'll clean my room when I leave but not during my stay when I'm not in my room). On departure staff claim I could have had room cleaned. Note to Hilton: in a full service hotel I am paying for cleaning. The decision to NOT have my room cleaned should be opt-in or requested by guest. I should not have to call the front desk to get my room cleaned.

Hello nodrama1, Thank you for your review. I am glad to hear that overall your experience was positive. I am disappointed to hear that we misinformed you of our housekeeping services. We are operating on a "request only" basis due to Covid. This should have been communicated to you, my apologies it was not. This critical feedback will be used in training our team. Thank you and look forward to seeing you soon. Yours in hospitality, Angie M - Director of Sales

Once you enter this hotel yo feel the good service and nice attitude from the staff. rooms were cleaned and comfortable. there is a valet parking place in the building (+charge) with a good service as well. location is great within the pearl district and most of the places are easy walking distance. Breakfast was standard and sufficient.

Stayed here just for the night. Wasn’t expecting anything out of the ordinary. Checked in super late and the front desk receptionist was beyond welcoming, seamless check in process. I had to run early morning errands and was greeted by Alex. He was extremely friendly and made me feel really welcomed. He showed superb customer service when he saw I had my hands full and got me and elevator he even went the extra mile and stepped inside to get the right floor for me. Overall amazing experience super clean hotel and amazing staff. Will be back!
