We were a family of four and were a bit cramped in the room (two queens), but overall there is everything you need, and for 2-3 people the rooms would have plenty of room. Location is very central, but for those who haven't been to Portland before, note that there is a large homeless population in the area, but we did not have any issues. Only valet parking on-site, but were recommended to a cheaper option by the friendly Courtyard staff. We did not use the on-site restaurant, but it was nice to have that option if needed. There are many great breakfast and dinner options in the area!

I usually stay at the AC hotel a few blocks away but due to the construction decided to transfer here. The service in AC is ho hum but Matt and Serena from the Courtyard won me over. The rooms are great, the location is central and the service pretty good. Unless any of these things change, I will choose this over AC

This hotel is in the perfect spot for tourists! My friend and I were so happy with the location everything was walking distance from the Portland Saturday Market, Powell's Books, VooDoo Donuts. We rented a car and realized we didn't need it since everything was close by good choices of restaurants in the vicinity. The room was spacious with 2 queen beds making it really comfortable for 2 people, 4 people could have even shared this room with how big it is. There is an adjacent diner that you can eat at but really just walk out the door and there is a Starbucks across the street and so much more. The hotel itself is very nice and clean. Great downtown location. Shopping is also available with national retailers nearby. There is also a gym in this hotel in case you want to work out. Highly recommend!

Coming to downtown to see a concert, wanted a nice place to get ready and stay overnight. This hotel was in walking distance of the venue. Found the place very clean and comfortable. Our king room was spacious and had a lovely city view. There is room service for food and drinks, but the room had no table, so was kinda worthless unless you like to eat on a bed! A table in front of the window would’ve been perfect, there is space for such, but instead just a chair and small side table are there. Was a little disappointed also that for the price, no breakfast options were included. Parking is a bit steep as well compared to some other downtown hotels. And hotel guests who smoke were going out to do so on the street sidewalk, as the property has no outdoor space. The restaurant/bar area is nice, and I must give a thumbs up to the chicken and waffle slider plate on the bar menu. It was very tasty and what a great idea, lol. Nice place for a quick overnight stay, but if you’re planning a longer visit, I’d check around to see if other places offer more amenities.

Dear lopper, We appreciate you taking the time to share your comments. I hope you enjoyed the concert at the nearby Crystal Ballroom. For in-room dining, the lower portion of the desk is on wheels and therefore easy to maneuver in the room to be used for a dining table. This adds flexibility without taking up extra space. I am glad that you enjoyed the adjacent restaurant, The Original. This is one of downtown Portland's most popular restaurant and our guest enjoy the exclusive lobby entry. Thank you again. We hope to welcome you back again in the future. Dave Murray General Manager

Went on a trip to Portland, OR with in-laws and their kids. However, even with valet, a thief was able to steal items from our minivan on our 2nd night of the entire 7-day vacation. The thief took my GPS that was stored in the center console. It was definitely not a good start for our vacation but Courtyard management helps make the whole experience less painful. The management acknowledged it immediately and have claim forms ready for me after we return from our sightseeing for the day. Upon returning home, I follow-up on my claim and was greeted with valet company, Towne Park's Account Manager, Derek G. He helped by making sure my claim was processed because its claim dept did not get back to me. The Courtyard management and the valet service helped resolve this unfortunate event within 4-week which I am very grateful for.
