Renovations seem partially completed and they are attractive. Staff was friendly and kind but cleanliness was lacking (hair in bathtub, dirt on floors, cobwebs on rails of balconies, a plastic bag full of ? in the hallway which caused an extremely foul smell).

Thank you for your feedback. We appreciate and value the time it takes to write a review because it give us an opportunity to correct and make changes for the better. Our renovations are continuous and we hope you will give us another opportunity and come back to see the finished result. Having said that any deficiency in cleaning is a disappointment. This is a top priority for our team and I assure the issues will be addressed by our staff.

Pool and view were nice. Staff was friendly. You only get breakfast if you book a certain rate. Location was nice except for all the homeless around the outside of the property. Now for the bad. Our room was dirty, fridge had not been wiped. The comforter was gross with multiple stains. Someone let their dog poop on the hallway carpet.

WARNING: LONG HONEST ASIAN REVIEW I am currently staying at room number 324 and I must say that I am very disappointed. I booked my stay with Groupon and the night before we drove to Portland(we are from Los Angeles, CA), I called the hotel and I was advised that they can't find my reservation for our 4 days stay which was in fact super stressful because me and my significant other is celebrating a special occasion and we we're really looking forward for this trip. After a couple of minutes and a couple of different information provided, the front desk personnel told me that he found my reservation and that their system always mix up information and that's the reason why there was a confusion(why don't they fix it then, right?) but that's okay, we were still very excited for the trip. After a very long drive(17 hours to be exact), we arrive at the hotel and a very nice lady at the front desk welcomed us told us all the information we need and specifically told us that breakfast was included, she even told us to make sure to tell the restaurant server our room number and they should be able to help us. Next day: we went to the restaurant for the complimentary breakfast previously mentioned to us but the server said we weren't on the list and we should talk to the front desk personnel- super embarrassed for getting rejected for a meal that was supposed to be part of our stay according to the front desk lady the night we checked-in, but that's okay I can go to the front desk and confirm. I happily went to the front desk where there was a line and I saw that they were entertaining the client in front of me happily and I felt happy because I saw how he was treated and I was very pleased and then it was my turn I happily greeted the guy which I think was the manager or supervisor or lead asked him about the breakfast and the moment I started talking to him I felt like his mood changed and he wasn't happy to answer my questions like he was with the guy before me which made me feel belittled and made me think that is this because I'm part of the minority and he wasn't? Moving forward, he basically told me and everyone on the line(because he had a loud voice) that I got it from groupon and that breakfast is included. I just stepped away because again, I felt embarrassed.. Please take note that I can pay for breakfast, but I was told that we had a complimentary one so I had to confirm. Moving forward, after a long day of spending a long day strolling around the wonderful city of Portland and a couple of cities around, we came to the hotel only to find out that our microwave wasn't working and our coffee maker was so filthy as if they only rinsed the coffee holder with water for a minute. Please take note that we had to call front desk twice with about an hour interval to get it fixed/changed. And I thought, what else can happen? Next day, asked housekeeping for extra towels and guess what? The housekeeping lady was ALSO rude! So to end this, I want the readers and the management to know that I didn't think I would have to waste my time in Oregon making this long review but I thought I had too. With all the #asianhate happening around us, the last thing I wanted to see from this hotel during my most awaited vacation is the personnels showing double standards. I'm just super tired. I hope no one experience this again. Xiexie.

My room didnt have a working TV in the room, I called the front desk, and they tried to fix it, but it didnt work. The management staff on duty provided me with the Presidential suite for the night for my trouble! I have been coming to this location for years, and they always provide me with great service! I will be there again for Father's Day weekend, and dont expect any issues!
