My husband and I stayed in the Everett Street Guesthouse Studio Cottage while on a trip to Portland last week and we would definitely recommend the Everett Street Guesthouse. It had some minor issues but overall a lovely place and wonderfully priced place to stay. Pros: Completely private, very clean, wonderful neighborhood, walking distance to great restaurants, very close to... More

Thanks so much for taking the time to review the cottage. Re: the refrigerator, it does go on and off and because it's a studio, you hear it more than if there were a separate bedroom, though this is the first time anyone has been bothered by it that I know of, so terribly sorry. There are actually earplugs provided... More

Me and my girlfriend loved our stay at the Everett Street Guesthouse! We stayed in the cottage and were blown away at how functional and accommodating our experience was. We stayed for a whole week and wish we could have stayed longer. Terry was an excellent host and answered all of our questions we had throughout our stay and recommended... More

We stayed in the cottage rather than in the house. It is very unique, beautifully appointed, clean, comfortable cottage. It is very close to the Laurelhurst and Hawthorne neighborhoods and a short walk to it's own fun neighborhood. Whole Foods is about 5 blocks away. We have family in Portland and look forward to staying at the cottage on future... More

I enjoyed my stay! The neighborhood is quiet but close to lots of excellent restaurants such as the Screen Door, the City State diner, Stammisch german food/beer, an excellent chocolate maker, Bamboo Sushi, Heart Coffe is just around the corner, and much much more. The place was very thoughtfully appointed with everything you might need to feel at home –... More

My husband and I stayed in the private basement apartment at the Everett Street Guesthouse for 3 nights / 4 days and we LOVED our stay! Terry was super friendly and made sure we felt right at home when we arrived. I loved that everything was in walking distance and the neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. The apartment was clean,... Thanks and great having you. The neighborhood around the apartment is called "Kerns" close to Laurelhurst, while Hollywood is about a mile away. So many great neighborhoods to explore which is what makes Portland so special. Hope to see you again in the future! More

The Everett Street Guesthouse has got it going. Charming, spacious, quiet. We stayed in the basement suite, which had great linens, a nice shower, all the comforts of home, great lotion. And the Hollywood neighborhood: A Plus! Close to Sullivan's Gulch and 24th and Meatball and the Pie Spot.

When on vacation, my husband and I always look for a private vacation rental that offers us the comforts of home. We found this, and more, in the private apartment of the Everett Street Guesthouse! From the moment we walked in to our private space w/ it's own entrance, we were pleasantly surprised to find a cozy, calming, beautifully decorated... More

This cozy back yard cottage is nicely decorated and offers all the comforts of home. I loved having a small kitchen to make tea in the morning and light meals at other times. Robes, slippers and bathroom toiletries helped make it comfortable. The cottage feels like a little hideaway and is securely tucked away. It was cold and rainy during... More

We stayed in the little back cottage, it felt as if we were in our own home. So quiet and peaceful. Not to mention clean and comfortable. We even had bottles of water waiting for us on the nightstands... Will definitely be back, can't imagine a better location in Portland.

Portland is a great place to visit and spend time, but if you are going to do it, you have to stay at the Everett Street Guest House. The neighbourhood is quiet and the streets are lined with beautiful trees and roses. The house itself is beautiful, and Terry's collection of art and antiques is enchanting. The rooms are spacious...
