Convenient location. Walking distance to restaurants, coffee and grocery store. Nice, safe neighborhood. I stayed in the apartment. Clean and fully outfitted. Bed comfey. There was even laundry available if you had an extended stay. It feels more like home than hotel.

I stayed in the cottage for three nights. It had everything. The bed was particularly comfortable. I would recommend having a car as there was plenty street parking and not great public transportation. The neighborhood is nice

Thanks so much for your comment and glad you enjoyed the cottage. I'm sorry you had trouble with public transportation. There are 2 different bus stops 3 blocks from the cottage that run regularly and takes you downtown, Pearl District and other areas. More

The suite at the Everett Street Guesthouse was large, well appointed and very comfortable to stay in. We really appreciated the communication and directions provided by Terry before and during our stay. There were bikes we were able to rent and there was a great spread of tea/coffee and other items in the room. The surrounding neighbourhood was awesome, with... More

This is a great cozy cottage in a nice quiet neighborhood within walking distance of many restaurants and fun places The innkeeper lives on site. Try Italian food at La Buca, breakfast at Screen Door and Donuts at Voodoo 2 all in walking distance.

My husband and I stayed in the Everett Street Guesthouse Studio Cottage while on a trip to Portland last week and we would definitely recommend the Everett Street Guesthouse. It had some minor issues but overall a lovely place and wonderfully priced place to stay. Pros: Completely private, very clean, wonderful neighborhood, walking distance to great restaurants, very close to... More

Thanks so much for taking the time to review the cottage. Re: the refrigerator, it does go on and off and because it's a studio, you hear it more than if there were a separate bedroom, though this is the first time anyone has been bothered by it that I know of, so terribly sorry. There are actually earplugs provided... More

Me and my girlfriend loved our stay at the Everett Street Guesthouse! We stayed in the cottage and were blown away at how functional and accommodating our experience was. We stayed for a whole week and wish we could have stayed longer. Terry was an excellent host and answered all of our questions we had throughout our stay and recommended... More

We stayed in the cottage rather than in the house. It is very unique, beautifully appointed, clean, comfortable cottage. It is very close to the Laurelhurst and Hawthorne neighborhoods and a short walk to it's own fun neighborhood. Whole Foods is about 5 blocks away. We have family in Portland and look forward to staying at the cottage on future... More

I enjoyed my stay! The neighborhood is quiet but close to lots of excellent restaurants such as the Screen Door, the City State diner, Stammisch german food/beer, an excellent chocolate maker, Bamboo Sushi, Heart Coffe is just around the corner, and much much more. The place was very thoughtfully appointed with everything you might need to feel at home –... More

My husband and I stayed in the private basement apartment at the Everett Street Guesthouse for 3 nights / 4 days and we LOVED our stay! Thanks and great having you. The neighborhood around the apartment is called "Kerns" close to Laurelhurst, while Hollywood is about a mile away. So many great neighborhoods to explore which is what makes Portland so special. Hope to see you again in the future! More

The Everett Street Guesthouse has got it going. Charming, spacious, quiet. We stayed in the basement suite, which had great linens, a nice shower, all the comforts of home, great lotion. And the Hollywood neighborhood: A Plus! Close to Sullivan's Gulch and 24th and Meatball and the Pie Spot.
