Stayed for one night, absolutely loved it! I love the way McMenamin's buy and operate unique buildings, keeping the brand's signature quality and attention to detail universal amongst all it's venues. We had an amazing and quite late dinner in the restaurant (delicious and locally sourced) had a great night's sleep in the room, which though somewhat on the small...

The place used to be a school is turned to a restaurant and inn. They serve great locally brewed beer and food. You should walk around inside of the building. It's fun to look around, and check out photos on the wall. Also you can sit outside if the weather allows.

This is a great place. Very comfortable great food ect... this is our 6th time here. EVERY TIME parking for guests in their parking lot is HORRIBLE!!! It is next to impossible as a guest to park here. They need a guest gate parking lot!

I always look forward to staying here. The rooms are comfortable and quiet. The property has bars and a restaurant, movie theater (free for guests), soaking pool, and great gift shop. I like that the lodging is within walking distance of some other Concordia neighborhood eating places, Walgreen's, and New Season's Market.

Kennedy school never disappoints. Service was friendly, food was good and we just love coming here! Great food specials. Can't wait for it to warm up so we can dine in the outdoor courtyard! Delicious Bloody Mary's too!

I first went here a few years ago and it blew my mind that such a place could exist. I have since been back a couple of times and love it. The Teacher's lounge is my favourite but also the boiler bar and good food can be had at the restaurants. Or if you fancy something different, a dip in...

As soon as we heard about the Kennedy School we knew we needed to spend at least one night of our Oregon-California honeymoon there. Everything was fantastic, from the classroom converted into a hotel room we slept in, to the insanely cool bar that is in the former furnace room, and the beautiful interior courtyard pool/hot tub. The attention to...

Snow started to fall as we left the PDX airport, we were glad we picked a location nearby, and having stayed at the McMinnamins Edgefield, new what to expect. Not having to go out for drinks, food or a movie. Even a soak in the spa under the ever increasing snow. Over the three days we were able to trudge...

Have stayed at the Grand Lodge a few times but not for several years so was shocked at the prices at the Kennedy School. On the plus side, both servers we had in the resto and bar were super nice & helpful. Our room in the English Wing is quiet & comfortable, although the bathroom is freezing. The Grand Lodge...

Like other McMenamins properties, the Kennedy School is a creative re-use of an older building - in this case, of an elementary school in NE Portland. The project includes guest rooms, a movie theater, a restaurant, some bars, a heated soaking pool, and probably some stuff I didn't even find. The room was small and not luxurious, but comfortable and...

Thank you for your review. We appreciate all of the details you included. I am hoping that you can tell me what room you stayed in as the comments about terrible water pressure are troubling. I can be reached directly at melj@mcmenamins.com if you wouldn't mind dropping me a note with the name/date of your reservation. We are glad you...
