We had the most beautiful stay here. The staff is the reason for the 5 stars. It’s been awhile since we have experienced such excellency. Hotel DeLuxe is our favorite stay in Portland. Thank you, M.S.
This is a very strong 5 star! We stayed here for three nights in summer. Excellent experience overall. Classical art decos. Walking distance to hip restaurants and bars. Clean room and great service. Happy hour drinks and bike rentals are included. Breakfast is not included, but the restaurant has a verity of good choices for breakfast and lunch.
Thank you so much!!! This was an awesome stay! My daughter and I appreciate everything you did for us!! We will be back!! Also your restaurant was amazing!!!! The German pancakes were the best! The entire experience I will never forget.
I was treated well and the room was clean and orderly. Love the historic atmosphere. Located close to many places to eat and see some of the historic places in Portland. The parking garage is right across the street and easy access.
This place was absolutely lovely to stay in, there were many things to do within walking distance as well. The service was amazing and the staff were very friendly. They greeted us whenever we entered and left the lobby. Very clean and perfect place to stay for a couples get away. I absolutely loved staying here and would recommend it to anyone. I will definitely be coming back.
Great for a wedding getaway. Great decor, theme, well maintained, had modern touches, but clearly a getaway and for people who appreciate historical stays. Nice to be close to downtown food, books and coffee the Portland things. The bar was nice. Staff were attentive friendly and caring
It was 100 degrees on the streets of Portland on July 26 when I arrived at the Hotel deLuxe. But a cool 68 easily adjustable degrees in my room. It's an older building (over 100 yrs old) and consequently solidly built. There could be a tap dancing convention next floor up and you'd never hear them. The property has been well maintained and kept up to date. The staff is knowledgeable and happy to help. Lots of giant photos from classic black and white movies on the walls. The cherry on top is Gracie's restaurant on the first floor, A classic room, with great food and service at a reasonable price. Go for breakfast or lunch even if you're not staying here.
I stayed at the Hotel DeLuxe for 2 nights July. I had no room service, which is fine, because it was just me. On my morning of check out I found an Ambien pill in my bed. It really caused me pause... how could there be a pill in my bed? I brought it to the front desk, and all I got from Kira was $58 amenity and parking refund- I had no car... When questioned she became pretty rude. Following up with Hannah, GM, the basic message was $58 should make me happy... I'm not. I asked for a night compensation- again no The question begs.. HOW CAN A PILL BE IN MY BED? Otherwise the hotel was nice... but I feel frustrated the managerial staff doesn't care... so one star
I decided to book a room here last minute for my ten year anniversary. I booked the day before and I noted it was our anniversary. Morgan was working the front desk and from the start it was an easy and welcoming experience. The hotel had upgraded my room for free and they gave me a bottle of champagne. This was all a surprise for my husband. He had no idea I did this and I had him chauffeured to the hotel. Everyone was so sweet and accommodating. When I first entered the room they had romantic music playing for us. I can't say enough good things about this hotel. It's very clean and beautiful. It truly has the classic atmosphere. You really get the star treatment here. I recommend visiting Hotel DeLuxe!
I stayed at the Hotel deLuxe June 27-28 (2 nights) in a double queen accessible room (822). It’s an absolutely beautiful hotel with outstanding customer service (thanks Gaston for all your help). The breakfast at the hotel restaurant Gracie’s was delicious. The room was very nicely appointed, the beds were very comfortable and the bathroom was very nice as well, with a shower tub combo. The only downside was the lack of valet (even though the website said they had it) but I understand how hard it is for businesses to hire/keep staff, and the parking lot is very close. The hotel is also on the safer side of downtown Portland. I definitely recommend Hotel deLuxe. A side note, if you’re in Portland for medical appointments at OHSU, the hotel offers a discounted rate which is so appreciated. …
