Good location downtown but the hotel is just ok. Definitely not 4.5 star worthy. I realize things are still opening up from pandemic lockdown but their website said hotel services “may” be impacted. There is no “may” about it they are impacted. No bar, no restaurant or room service, no maid service unless you request it in advance. The two staff that are here are really nice though. Oh, and I probably should have put this first - the AC is ridiculously loud. I actually asked to be moved to another room which they nicely did but same issue. So for that reason alone I wouldn’t stay here again.

Staff is exceptional, polite, professional and accommodating for anything and everything we needed. Words are not enough to express there kindness. Room is spacious, clean and comfortable. Bathroom has all you need as far as shampoo, conditioner, bath gel and towels. Nice magnifying vanity mirror. Hair dryer. No body lotion. Bed and pillows were comfortable and cozy. Most important it accommodated my pet. Restaurants, cafes and bakeries are all walking distance. We are grateful we found this gem of a hotel.

We had plans to visit Portland on what turned out to be two days of record high temperatures in June (116). Restaurants closed up, the streets were deserted, and a lot of locals sold out the hotel for heat refuge. The room itself was small but lovely and quiet - but what we were most impressed with the staffs handling of the situation. Everyone was calm and cheerful and helpful. In particular, Ryan kept watch over us. He offered tips and went out of his way to make sure we had cups and plates for our impromptu lobby picnics. Thank you Kimpton and Ryan for the extra care and thoughtfulness.

This hotel gave us the best experience planning a surprise for my friend's partner. RYAN WAS GEM! Ryan was so sweet, helped with making sure we had everything we needed, went along with the plan, even gave in details to help make the surprise worthwhile. Ryan was a pivotal piece in the plan and really came through. Ryan is great and gave amazing customer service. If you are coming to this hotel I recommend saying hello to Ryan, Ryan will give you the best 5 start service. Thank you, Ryan! YOU THE BEST!!!!

My boyfriend and I had the pleasure of staying here for one night only. We loved our loft style room, it was very trendy and clean. There was a parking lot right across the street which was very convenient, only $24 for overnight parking. The downtown area we were in wasn’t too busy, but if you are willing to walk around a few blocks you will most likely find everything you are in need of; coffee shops, restaurants, etc. I also want to give a shout out to Rhaya, who works the front desk at the hotel. She was very helpful in giving me insight regarding the best shopping districts and which parks to visit for the day. We really felt like we got to experience a good bit of Portland thanks to her suggestions. We’ll be back!
