I paid $20 to park in their parking lot for the Blazer game and got my car broken into!! I get it's Portland and there is not much I can do, but their lack of security is definitely a huge factor at fault (very dim parking lot, no one patrolling the area, etc.) Been living in this city for 13... With several young men dressed poorly lounging in the small parking area in front of the motel, we were apprehensive as we checked in around 8 pm. Climbing to the third floor we passed several rooms with doors open. The rooms were jammed with personal effects and mothers with children, most likely long term section 8 tenants. Due to the... First of all, Expedia had a great (false) picture that they claimed was the "Portland Expo Center Inn". In reality, it is an Econo Lodge with stained carpets and mattresses, and people outside talking and being loud late at night. I didn't feel safe and had to leave.

I rated this motel average because I think you are supposed to assign a rating based on the universe of ALL motels. Yeah, in that context it's average. But this is a budget motel -- and with that in mind and comparing it to other motels in its class -- the location, facility and service was excellent. Perfect for my... More

I knew beforehand that it was a two-star motel, so I was a little leery not knowing what to expect. And it was clearly a two-star place. But it was clean and comfortable and well-tended to. Not really a breakfast that I kind of expected. Very limited items. Juice and coffee and a few other limited items. The staff was... More

Sleeping in your car is better than staying here. People blatantly ignored signs and smoked anywhere they liked. The best things I can say about the place is (i) the guy at the front desk helped us move our bag to the second floor; (ii) he provided a hairdryer after I asked for it.

This hotel is not near anything. In an industrial aeea, if you have a car it's minutes from most things in portland. Looks shady but it's not. Gets noisy around 10 pm for an hour. Staff were great, room was basic but clean . Best for laying your head.

I don't have much to say. I'll my photos speak for me. Needless to say, we didn't stay. We were offered a second room. As soon as we walked in, I walked out. The reek of cigarettes was overwhelming.....in a non-smoking room. ??drug dealers hangout??? Sure looked like it.

We pulled into the area very late at night to find many people drinking in the parking lot. We would have left but this was literally the LAST hotel with a room available in Portland and I now know why. We would have gone elsewhere if we had the chance! I would never stay here again or recommend this place.

This hotel has great proximity to the Expo Center. We stayed in it in 1994, then again in 2014. I think we had the same mattress. Even though the springs were coming through the mattress, the manager had basically nothing to say, "yeah we need new beds" as he left. This hotel needs a clean up in a bad way.... More
