I stayed at the Hotel Eastlund when attending the 2023 TESOL Convention. Not only is the hotel a very short walk from the Oregon Convention Center, but the staff are friendly and helpful, the art decorating the lobby/halls/room is fantastic, and the rooms are modern and cozy. The Wild Bean Cafe next to the lobby is a great breakfast option. I wish I had an opportunity to try the restaurant on the top floor.
Exceptional hotel and very clean. Waking distance to OCC. Staff was very friendly, professional, and accommodating. Roof top restaurant was top notch. No refrigerator or microwave but don’t let that deter you. I was impressed and I don’t usually write reviews.
The staff was great. The room was very nice. I enjoyed my stay. The staff was was very helpful. Always had smiles on their face. Which gave a good vibe. Rooms were spacious and gave me a feeling of being at home. Bed and pillows were top notch. Thank you
I was blown away upon first impressions by the modern styles, and efficient designs of the rooms. I loved the well-stocked quality snack basket and beverages in the room to purchase, they were so tempting. I loved that they used local companies. The bed was comfy, but I wished there was a firmer pillow on the bed to use. Compacting down pillows are not good for proper sleeping support, so I didn’t get good sleep. My room also made a high-pitch frequency noise for 1/3 nights which was odd and my sleeping self somehow kept removing ear plugs. The roof restaurant and bar was my favorite amenity! Not having to travel made those decisions easier. I did enjoy my stay, I would like to come back for sure! I will inquire about firmer pillows. The price is very reasonable for your quality. …
This was a terrific place to stay for my convention experience. Part of me didn't want to write this review because it feels like if the secret gets out that there is a 4-star hotel across the street from the convention center at a 3-star price, then the price will only go up and the place will be packed. My room was small, a little bit like a microtel, however it was comfortably appointed and felt luxurious like a New York Studio Suite. I would definitely stay again. Loved the rooftop restaurant and spacious comfortable lobby. The valet parking was a surprise but they were very friendly, just takes a little more planning with your need for accessing a vehicle.
We stayed at this hotel when we were in town for the Eagles concert. We were blown away by the customer service at this hotel. They were so pleasant and very helpful! They answered all of our questions about how to maneuver around the city. It is rare to get such wonderful customer service these days. We so appreciate it! The front desk gals went above and beyond to make our stay, comfortable and easy! The room was clean and fresh. We had no issues whatsoever. Thumbs up and highly recommend! Great value as well. Keep up the good work 🙂
Great modern hotel! Everything actually looked as pictured and was super clean. They provided a nice Cosco playpen for our toddler. Shower was nice & hot, room was a comfortable temperature, beds were comfy, Street traffic can get a little noisy but it’s bearable. Friendly staff & easy valet system. We stayed overnight for a Pelicans Vs Trailblazers game. Stadium was a super quick walk, less than 10 minutes. Side note: stadium doesn’t sell ANY milk anymore so plan accordingly or sneak a small amount in your pocket (lol) if that’s all your toddler drinks.
I've stayed here two consecutive years for a work trip, and both times have been fantastic. Excellent, friendly, prompt, and outgoing staff, including - and especially - the valet crew; clean, well-furnished rooms (and fridge, if you feel like dipping into some delicious wine or beer); and having the restaurant on the top of the building is a plus for sure! Outstanding food, delicious beverages, a wide variety in both categories, and - again - excellent hospitality from their staff, too.
We were surprised at the lack of BW logos but understand because this is the top end of Best Westerns you will experience. Very nice rooms and super accommodating staff. We didn’t try the in house restaurants because there are other options close by. Great walk from the Moda Center.
Great boutique hotel with very cool decor. Great restaurant and bar on the top floor. Unbeatable location for any event at the Moda or convention center. The only reason for not giving it five stars is the bar closes too early and there are no stairs to get up to your room. After a jam packed concert, the line for the elevators (that only four people ??) stretches all the way through the lobby. You’re in a metropolitan city… you gotta provide more access and service than that.
