Located on Historic King's Hill, within the enchanting Goose Hollow neighborhood. Goose Hollow is one of Portland's original settlements. It shares the best attributes of both a city's downtown district and an established residential area, with its gorgeous homes of yesteryear, many of which are registered with the National Historic Register. On our western border, a short walk up leafy, tree-lined streets will lead you to Portland's renowned Washington Park, with its world famous International Rose Test Garden and Japanese Garden. Informal elegance within the heart of a remarkable city.

This was the best choice for me and my two dogs. We had a king suite, which was HUGE, including a smallish kitchen that was fine for my needs. Good bed! I love that you can walk out the door and be walking in Washington Park within a few blocks. Be aware that parking is really tight in the lot, but the lot across the street, also owned by this hotel, had lots of space. Super friendly staff. So here's the best part--the walls are super thick and made of brick. I heard no noise, which was a blessing. Our room was tucked in a corner, with neighbors on only one side. Very quiet and peaceful. Thanks!!! I'll be back.

Worst hotel ever. The bed was broken, the AC made noise all night and the walls are paper thin so we could hear EVERYONE’S business at 5am. One of the worst nights of sleep I’ve ever had. Not to mention, the front desk dude was unprofessional and rude. Their policy includes a $100 hold on your bank account until your stay is over, which is ridiculous and unnecessary. Not worth the price for the location.

Worst hotel I’ve been to. Bed is so uncomfortable I couldn’t sleep. The walls are thin enough that you can hear other people talking, and every noise they make. Air conditioning unit sounds like a jet engine. The room is tiny too. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone, it definitely isn’t worth what they’re charging.

We stayed here a few years back (as visitors) and really enjoyed the neighborhood and that it's within walking distance to some excellent restaurants. This time we came with our dogs and it was just an overnight stay (as OR residents). The room did not disappoint again. They are quite simple yet clean. The staff is very nice and helpful. This time around there was a 10pm curfew in place for PDX and the front desk made sure that we knew that. The only drawback is that the parking lot is TIGHT and even though your are supposed to display a parking pass, many in the neighborhood park in the lot as we witnessed. It does not appear they enforce who actually parks there. The streets are full of vehicles due to the hotel being in the middle of an established neighborhood. With that said, we will stay here again when we are back in a few months.

We were very pleased with our stay at this hotel. The guy who checked us in was friendly and helpful. Our room looked exactly like the photo and was very clean. We loved the central location, it was close to lots of eateries and also close to downtown. The rate was a good value as well. This will now be our "go-to" hotel when we come to Portland.
