Nice amenities, friendly staff and close to lots of good bars and restaurants. Eric provided lots of helpful information on fun activities to take in for a brief stay. Will mostly likely return on my trip up next quarter.

Hotel's Favorite
My husband and I try to stay here once a year around his birthday. We look forward to this staycation all year long as we both don't have many opportunities to get away from the kids. We were beyond amazed with the renovated hotel. Formerly the Marriott City Center, The Bidwell is gorgeous! We love all the natural wood throughout the building and the High Horse bar is so nice. Bradley at the bar was very nice and made me a custom cocktail since I am picky and very rarely drink. It was yummy! We spent most our time in the high floor room with views of the north side. Maybe we have to stay twice a year now lol! My parents will be visiting in the summer and I told them to stay here.

Hi GigglyMama, Wow! What an awesome review of your stay...thank you!! I'm so happy to hear you had an amazing parents getaway (definitely a time to be treasured). Fun fact about the natural wood throughout the hotel: It's responsibly sourced from a farm in the PNW and made from trees that have already fallen down. Not only can we love the look, but we can feel good about it too! I look forward to sharing your feedback with Bradley (isn't he rad?!) and the rest of our team! We are especially excited to host your parents this summer; please reach out to me personally when you're making travel arrangements so I can ensure you and your parents the best stay. We appreciate you for spending your special time away with us, and we can't wait to start welcoming you back for your *quarterly* visits! Warmest Regards, Jamelyn Rothans Guest Satisfaction Ambassador jamelyn.rothans@thebidwell.com

My stay at The Bidwell was phenomenal! The room was excellent and had a lovely view. Room service was brought up quickly and delicious. Eric was a delightful help at check in and answered all our questions. He was knowledgeable about the area and able to give us recommendations on what to do and eat. I will definitely recommend the Bidwell to my friends!

Nice to be back at the Bidwell. Feels like a real hotel with more guests and staff these days compared to my first visit. The restaurant service was a bit slow but it appeared that they were short on staff. Food was otherwise great. I love this hotel because they do not charge you hidden fees like resort fees and their amenities are complimentary with the exception of valet parking which makes sense for any downtown hotel. I stay at a number of hotels for my job so I like to try new places but the Bidwell may soon become my permanent home in Portland. Thank you for the great stay Bidwell.

I had low expectations for a trip when things are still so impacted by post-pandemic restrictions & shortages. The Bidwell proved me wrong by far exceeding my expectations. The room was fantastic; perfectly appointed with anything you might need. Great little touches like glass bottles to fill with as much water as you want at the water dispenser on each floor, & rooms smelling like essential oils when you walk in. The room was clean, like super clean (you could smell it faintly when you walked in the bathroom, not an overpowering smell of bleach to make your head hurt, just a slight hint to let you know it hasn’t been ignored). The restaurant & bar are only open limited hours & room service isn’t back yet, but the gym is available again. Every single member of the staff was WONDERFUL! They were attentive & friendly & went above & beyond to make sure we had every need met. I cannot sing the praises of this hotel enough for your next stay in Portland.
