The service at this hotel is really spectacular. Pedro in the lounge made us feel like family…well, not just family, but family that he likes :). Rob at valet was awesome and super helpful. Johnathan at the front desk went above and beyond to make my father’s St Patrick’s Day/birthday weekend a success. There was also a super friendly young woman at the front desk whose name I didn’t get, but she was a pleasure. Thank you to the whole team! The hotel was neat, clean and contemporary. I would certainly stay again.

My stay at The Bidwell Marriott was wonderful. Assistant Director of Sales, Kassie Barone, was amazing to work with… and from the start, she proposed a fair and competitive rate in booking 16 rooms for 3 evenings. Once our contract was finalized, Catering & Conference Manager, Desiree Blasini, took over and she was incredible at coordinating our rooming list and arrival/departure schedule. I travel for a living, at least four to five months out of the year, so I know a good team when I experience one. Desiree and her Admin, Heather Gordon, welcomed us upon arrival, and they were quick to make any adjustments necessary to get our crew quickly into their rooms. The staff treated us like true VIPs, making our stay amazing. The rooms are wonderful as well. They provide you with all the amenities a guest would hope for or need. The restaurant and in-room dining was equally as delicious. The entire experience was first class… which is not common, even in some four star hotels. Their attention to detail and care for us made our entire trip easy and enjoyable. I can't wait to come back and stay at The Bidwell again!! The hotel is beautifully remodeled and has everything a business traveler could want. Ian at the front desk took care of every detail, and made the stay a memorable one from start to finish. I am a Marriott Lifetime Platinum Elite guest, and this is really an outstanding property. Ask for Ian!

My guys Tyler & Ian at the front desk and Lukas rocking the valet were incredible. I typically stay at the Nines but these guys have made my stay so convenient and memorable I won’t want to stay anywhere else in Portland moving forward. These guys are kind, cool and great at anticipating guest needs. As a Marriott Ambassador Elite with over 160 nights in a hotel a year seeing these dudes after a long day totally disarms and reminds you that there are people out there that really care to provide and delight the customer! Do yourself a favor and book the Bidwell. Plus the rooms are so comfortable, sleek, and relaxing!

Amazing staff!!! Ian and Tyler “TL” S. at the front desk were my favorite part of my trip! So friendly and helpful! I had dinner in the bar and loved talking to the two bartenders there as well. Then, as I’m waiting for my Uber, the bell desk staff offers me a ginger ale just cuz. So nice! Would go back for the staff alone.

This was without a doubt one of the most exceptional hotel stays we have ever had in Portland. My husband and I travel a lot, and stay in hotels around the world, and from beginning to end we felt pampered and taken care of. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by friendly smiles, unsolicited assistance, kind greetings and warm care. We felt seen, heard and felt incredibly safe (both from a safety standpoint and cleanliness standpoint). As Marriott Platinum Elite members, we were recognized for our status, given a beautiful complimentary upgrade of a King Corner Room and access to the lounge. However, the real star of the show was Pedro who was assisting guests and taking care of the Executive Lounge service in the morning. Not only did Pedro go above and beyond providing us excellent service, he was thoughtful, kind and took genuine pride in his job. Pedro is a "one of a kind" employee. He was smart, charismatic, thoughtful, empathetic and his talents must be recognized. Management staff: If a promotion for Pedro is not already planned, make it a priority. Overall I cannot recommend this hotel enough! The location is excellent, the staff amazing and the facilities newly remodeled. We had the best experience here! We felt right at home upon arrival! Coolest decor and vibes throughout this hotel! Boutique feel with all the amenities you would find at your favorite Marriot. Tyler immediately made us feel welcomed and went above and beyond making sure we had all the best spots to explore. I can’t wait to stay here again!

We spent the weekend at the Bidwell and enjoyed our stay. We stayed in a corner room which was lovely. The M Lounge is open with a standard breakfast and sodas/ coffee 24/7. No bottled water as they give you a bottle and there are purified water stations in every floor. We ate in the restaurant for dinner and brunch and it was delicious both times. We walked to the Pearl District, just a 10 minute walk, and brewery hopped one afternoon and had a great time. The hotel is within walking distance to many places. Just know most places close around 10pm so if you’re a night owl downtown Portland may not be your spot. With the exception of our delayed flight upon arrival this didn’t have any impact on my world though. Luckily, the hotel has a little store with snacks, wine, and beer if you need something after 10.
