I've stayed in this hotel once before, and I'm always impressed with their level of service. On this occasion, I was walking back to the hotel with a cup of coffee in each hand, and the man at the front opened the door for me, and then noticing both my hands were full, he walked me to the elevator to...

This hotel is located between to Pioneer Square and the Pearl District. Easy walking to shopping, restaurants and museums. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The facility is clean and comfortable, but, lacks the character and charm of some of the other hotels in the area. It also has guests leave a deposit for an umbrella, which other hotels do...

I travel to Portland frequently for work. I have stayed here and another business friendly hotel in downtown. The Marriott has gone above and beyond on both my stays. The front desk is fantastic. Charlotte P. heard my mom-horror story of a scam kid-napping while in transit to the hotel. I was panic striken upon check in. Charlotte P. had...

This was the most expensive hotel we stayed at in our week trip in Oregon and our least favorite. I know it's down town, but it didn't have any of the amenities the other hotels had like free Internet, breakfast, and parking. Valet is extremely expensive and there is no place to pull over top check in and drop off...

Dear valued guest, Thank you for taking time to review your recent stay with us. Please accept our sincere apologies for the mix up at check in. The front desk personnel are very RUDE !!! I'm a life time Platinum member of Marriott and have never in all my stays (Well over 750 night) have experienced such poor service. I had 3 rooms booked 1 month in advance for the concierge floor and paid more money to be on that floor. Upon arrival I was told by...

Dear valued guest, Thank you for taking time to review your recent stay with us. First, let me start by offering our sincere apologies for the poor level of service you received at our front desk. This is very disheartening to say the least and I will be addressing the team as a whole to ensure this was an isolated...

The entrance is on the north side of Broadway, nearest to Washington Street. There is a rotating main door with 2 side doors when you need to take your luggage. Doormen/valet are very nice and courteous. Parking is valet only and they request 15 minutes call ahead. The lobby is quite small. The check-in desk is to the right with...

When we arrived to the hotel the valet parking staff greeted us with smile and they were extremely helpful. I felt with these two encounters, our stay was going to be pleasant. I was wrong, it was amazing, thanks to Mr. Lickey ! We checked in with Preston Lickey at the front desk and he had the ‘I will do...

We were in Portland on vacation. We decided not to rent a car there because parking was so expensive and the public transportaion was easily available. The location was good because we could either walk to where we wanted to go or get public transportation. The room was nice and comfortable. The bathroom was a little small for 2 people...

Many extras that made my trip better. Gym equipment includes videos of routes from around the world. The hotel restaurant served the best meals I encountered on this trip (I dined at two other places in Portland and one near Seattle, and the hotel meals were by far the best). I noticed that the bathroom sink drain lever was loose,...
