Basic room but super clean, really comfy bed and pillows, nice breakfast and friendly staff!! I'd definitely recommend staying at this nice hotel and especially since it's such a great price for the quality that you get.

If you like to support small hotels this is a great place to stay. Great price, friendly staff, nicely remodeled room, and it even included a light continental breakfast. Since it was extremely cold outside (single digit temps), we should have accepted the offer of a portable heater.

I recently had my third stay at RCL immediately following Christmas. RCL is my reward for a long days journey from Utah to Oregon. It is worth braving wintry weather and fatigue over the Blue mountains knowing that comfort and rest awaits in Pendleton. The owner and staff are friendly every time and the room is comfy with the price...

It was a very snowy night arrival. We've never stayed here before and thought we'd just give it a try. What a great idea! The manager was very courteous and accommodating to tired, stressed travelers and our dogs. We requested a room where we could park in front of it, to unload: perfect! The manager cautioned that the door locks...

We stayed in this hotel a few nights ago. It was affordable and most importantly clean. It felt very homey. I liked that it wasn't far from the highway. The owner was very nice and made sure we felt welcome.

Clean older highway motel, 66.00 per night with a dog, not bad. Small rooms . We did not have a reservation and the first room they gave us was a smoking room and when we asked to be moved it was no problem. We did not check out till 11:15 am and that was not an issue. It's a very...

This is my second time staying at the Rugged Country Lodge. I return because it is a family run business. The owners are very friendly and welcoming. They keep the motel clean and cozy. The breakfast is excellent too.

Inexpensive and very basic. Didn't quite resemble the pictures online. Breakfast was supposed to be open at 7 am, though it was still locked when I went and the front desk didn't open until 8am. Better customer service at the front desk would have made for a better experience.
