It was SO refreshing walking into a clean, fresh smelling casino that did not smell of cigarette/cigar smoke! They disallowed smoking in the tower hotel rooms and casino due to COVID. Masks and temperature checks required. Staff regularly observed disinfecting public areas/surfaces. Seriously, if this hotel/casino truly cares about the health/welfare of their staff and guests, they'll continue banning smoking. If they continue banning smoking, we will be back.

Our tower room was clean and had a great view. Friendly staff. And, whether I won or lost in the casino has no barring on this review (why do people give a resort/casino a bad review just because they lost gambling???)

Coming out of the Mountains from the East, you see this oasis in the distance. Driving from Twin Falls ID Portland, this is the perfect place to stop, eat and play. Casino does hand pays for jackpots over $500 which I did not like. Free Soda everywhere in the Casino. I did hit the Sun and Moon Progressive so that paid for my fod, room and gas. I recommend this hotel/casino...

This resort casino is the most kid friendly resort casino you will find on the entire western seaboard!
The water in the tower is way too soft. You cannot rinse the soap and shampoo off of your skin and out of your hair. They need to address this issue because it is a SAFETY HAZARD. The bathroom floors are as slick as ice because the cleaning staff is unable to get the soap off the floors. I slipped and hurt my hip while getting out of the tub. The hotel director is aware of the issue, but must be hard pressed to find someone that knows how to properly adjust the water softening system.
We have to bring our own rinse water from home! The courtyard wing does not have the problem, so try for a courtyard room.

We planned a week long excursion traveling new roads and exploring places we’ve long wanted to knock off our bucket lists. We had planned to wrap up the trip with a two day layover at the Wildhorse Resort & Casino. We booked a suite with a courtyard view a week prior to our arrival on March 24th, 2021. When we arrived we were told our room wasn’t ready and to check back in an hour. Not a problem. An hour later we retuned to the line. After a 15-20 minute wait we were told, again, that our room wasn’t ready. To be clear, it was ready but hadn’t been inspected yet so we stepped aside under the mistaken belief that we would be signaled when the room was ready. After waiting at least 20 more minutes (next to the counter) my wife stepped forward and inquired as to whether our room was ready yet. We were told to get back in line (for the third time). Another 15 minutes passed and we were once again at the counter. At last our courtyard view suite was indeed ready!

As we drove our car around to the most accessible entryway to the room, I noted that this was likely the older portion of the hotel. Once we entered my sense was confirmed but I was hopeful. I entered the elevator and as my wife attempted to do the same, the elevator door literally slammed closed on her, wedging her between the elevator door and elevator wall. She had to forcibly push it back open to extricate herself. This wasn’t the normal gentle contact one would expect in a modern elevator.

We entered the room (201) and our disappointment was complete. The room was horribly dated with a worn faded leather couch, two dirty plaid chairs and a brown floral polyester bedspread. Our courtyard view consisted of a view of the top of an exhaust stack, a tarred roof, and a wall. Phone lines and cables ran loose along the floor. No courtyard in sight. A complete disappointment. We called the front desk seeking a room change. The first person said there was an accessible room on the first floor and passed me off to her supervisor. The supervisor said there was no other rooms available. Our choice was to accept a dark and dingy, no view room or refuse the room and complete our journey by driving the remaining three hours home. We chose the latter. Needless to say we were completely disappointed! This experience ended an otherwise wonderful trip on an extremely sour note! Beware!

The room was gross! We stayed in the Courtyard which will never happen again. We paid $10 extra per night along with a $200 dog deposit, which came with a document that you were required to sign and agree with. Example of statements: would be responsible for any damage, stains, smells! Well after seeing (smelling) the room, I wondered who pocketed the past customer's $200 because it certainly wasn't used to clean the room.
We were there, traveled 3 hours and tried to make the best of it. Reserved the room for 2 nights.
Showed the front desks pictures of the damage in the room upon arrival so that we would not be held responsible. Was told"Yeah, that building was slated to be torn down and rebuild, then Covid hit so we just continued renting out the rooms!" WOW
Inquired about meals, no breakfast served at their restaurants, you will need to leave the premises and drive to town for breakfast! WOW, make your guest leave, good business practice.
Ended up driving to town for dinner and breakfast.
The room smelled, was noisey, filthy, dead bugs among the dirt on the floor, stained carpet, damaged doors and walls, bathtub was BLACK, curtains were falling off the wall, beds were far from comfortable. Couldn't stay another night. While checking out early, spoke to someone in charge and he refunded the $20 dog fee, the $200 cleaning deposit and the fee for the second night. WOW, he couldn't of cared less. SAD, really wanted this to be a good memorable weekend.

Only casino around and they take advantage of it. I agree with the previous review that if you don't stay in the tower the rooms are terrible, dirty, lumpy carpet. The heater in the first room didn't work so we were offered extra blankets. Really? I thought heat came with room rental.

Be careful in the casino. I was playing a machine when it locked up, I couldn't get it to do anything, so I cashed out. To my surprise all my money was gone except 7 cents. I turned on the service light, no response. Called the casino twice, no response. Stopped a security guard. After 30 minutes a 'technician ' opened the machine, asked a lot of questions then showed me that I had placed a series of maximum bets. I had not placed any maximum bets, when the machine locked up it continuously place maximum bets (without any action) until only 7 cents were left. He told me that I was out of luck. Forty five minutes of my time and my money were gone. Big racquet. They are the only game in the area, so they don't care if their machines lock up and take all your money, and if you push the 'service ' button no one helps you.

If you want to distract yourself for a minute with some gambling the Wildhorse Casino can be the right place. One thing I noticed while we were there is that the casino does not smell like smoke! Even the smoking areas don’t smell of smoke. There is no drinking alcohol on the casino floor which is annoying, but there is free soda. The casino is also slot machine heavy with a limited amount of table games. All in all a fun distraction for a short time while visiting Pendleton.

We were driving to Seattle so stopped here for a night. Monday night so not too busy. The hotel room is clean and comfortable. Nice big tv. Great shower and 2 Queen beds. Plenty of room with a nice quiet A/C. Beds are comfy. You need to wear a mask around the hotel and in the casino even when sitting at the machines which is a bit overkill. You can take the mask off in the restaurant once seated. I felt sorry for all the staff having to wear the mask all day/night. Not good at all. Plenty of parking at this hotel. Easy to get to off the highway.

There was a review on here about the water in the tower being too soft , he was spot on ! I could have stood under the for 2 hrs and still would feel slimy , they need to fix this !! Also the courtyard rooms are nasty , bedspread had burnt holes on it , the only good thing about the room was the a/c worked great !! Late that night I stopped by front desk to ask for a room in the tower , very nice young man made that happen. The next morning I stopped by the desk to see if the room was by chance ready very nice / pleasant young lady said it was gave me keys and I moved my stuff to new room. Late that evening I came back and my keys did not work , went back down to front desk explained what happened and got the worst customer service ever !! She basically accused me of non payment , I explained that I paid when I checked in the previous day and she kept questioning me finally she gave me keys I wish I had gotten her name because as my brother would say she looked like someone pissed on her toothbrush !!

Yes, there is a pool
Answer from Go316857
It is technically not permitted to bring in outside alcohol and alcohol purchased on the casino floor must be consumed there. Therefore, the only legal way to consume alcohol in the hotel guest room is to order it through room service.

There is not a specific breakfast place there. We bought a couple of croissants and coffee. It’s all burgers etc if you google this place you’ll see their full menus online. But no great breakfasts there unfortunately.
