Wife, older granddaughter + female friend and stayed here last year. The campground is great and clean, and the dinner was UNBELIEVABLE! Fresh and delicious German menu, w/ ice cream and Marionberry sauce for desert! The one-man show w/ jokes & singing afterwards was great too...our two high school girls laughed politely & almost joined in! The owners are European,... More

We just stayed one night here, arriving late the owner gave us a discount which was nice. Woke up early the next morning and explored the amazing beach that is just across the road. Loved this place and it was one of the cheapest stops along our Coast road trip

This charming RV park was perched on a cliff overlooking the Pacific ocean. Nice people with a German restaurant on the premises. You could hear the ocean from our site and it was wonderful. I would stay here again.

We have spent time visiting Gold Beach over the past 25 years and have stayed here frequently. Upon arriving and asking about the rates, the owner became very rude and defensive about raising the price the previous year from &30.00 to &39.90 which I did not have a problem with. When asked about satellite reception from a back in site... More

We just returned from a 2 week tour of the Pacific Northwest. We travel in a car pulling a small teardrop trailer so our whole trip was basically outdoors and in tent sites. We stayed in lots of campgrounds and this was by far our favorite spot. It was so cool and quiet with really nice areas for tent camping.... More

Not sure how this place gets such good reviews. We usually prefer to stay in Oregon State Parks, but as this was a last-minute trip, they were all full in the area, so we booked a spot for two nights. Positives: Quiet, spacious area for our 16' trailer, other campers friendly. The lower tent area actually looked nicer than the... More

my family and I went there for a Birthday meal. It was very good and having someone who grew up on German food, he was very impressed" like his mother used to make" was his statement, everything was good Nice atmosphere, very few choices of German beer, and they were out of their Beer from Munich, "Spaten" It was fun... We have traveled 3000 mi and finally found a privately owned campground that is quiet and idyllic. LOVELY. Beautiful meadows for tent campers! And best of all, great food at on premises restaurant! We are in a 36 ft motorhome and pulling a minivan. Pull thru sites!

Fantastic views of the Pacific from the park, Honeybear RV Campground is a real treat. The 100 acre park is engulfed in the sound of crashing waves, and the highway cannot be seen or heard. We are avid RVers, and this park is the best that we have found. We like birding, whale watching, hiking, golfing, and fishing. The adjacent... More

Gary (Gerhard) and his wife Jeannett Saks run the Honey Bear Campground & RV Resort located on 100 acres just off highway 101 about 60 miles from the northern California border. This charming resort may not be appreciated by some after reading the reviews, but we found it delightful. There are full hookups for RVs of any size, rental cabins... More
